I broke my right wrist and couldn't drive for over 3 weeks. I got this and was back in business. My husband drove with it first. Then I drove in an empty lot. He was satisfied. I've been driving over a week now and it's been great. Just what I needed.

First day out on boat it broke! Never fit right to start with! Piece of junk!

This is the third purchase of this. It shows a hex head pin as a pivot pin. Making you think it screws in. It doesn't. It just pushes in. That is the biggest problem with these. Over time, the pins walk out. If you're not careful, you can loose it. I have to replace it every few years when the pin starts falling out continuously. I have an expensive knob that takes this type of mount. If the pin was captured or screwed in (like the picture implies) it would probably last twice as long. I guess I'm stuck buying this over and over if I want to use my knob. At least it does hold up for a little while.

When my wife broke he arm steering got more difficult. Thought about the old "suicide knows" and found they were actually legal to use just about anywhere, though on e rarely sees them any more. She really likes it. Makes turns a breeze with just one hand.

Good product as described but needed an important detail. Installed on my golf cart. Simulated wood almost matches the burl wood look dash/cup holders. Low profile and very well built with durable chrome finish. Missing detail is the inside diameter - which is 9/32", but the cart steering wheel is only 3/32". Even with the supplied rubber strip it was still too large. Made it work tho. Another detail not mentioned was that the knob can also fold down 90 degrees when not in use. NOTE: while this is a solid piece, the metal edges that clamps onto the steering wheel are sharp. Cut myself open when the wheel came back suddenly (hence the term "suicide knob"). After I bandaged my metatarsal I filed down ALL the edges round. Problem solved. Even with all the filing the chrome did not flake or peel. Gave it 4 stars for lack of inside diameter info and for the sharp edges.UPDATE: I’ve had this on my cart for over 3 years now and it still works fine. The only thing that happened was that the knob came off the clamp one day. It was an easy fix - separate the plastic knob by removing the 3 screws, replace the spacer and nut that came loose, tighten and reinstall the three screws on the bottom of the knob.

Didn't care for it at all returned it made very cheap wood grain is cheap plastic.

This is the worst spinner knob I've ever come across! It literally feels and handles like a toy for a toddler. Barely good enough for a child's battery powered, electric drivable car steering wheel.
