Great compression, comfort, durability, and moisture control!
I've bought the 39-42 size. Heel to knee: 49 cm/ 19 in; Calf: 43 cm/ 17 in. I'm 172 cm/5' 7" tall; the socks reach all the way up to my knees, so they would be okay for anyone as tall as 180 cm. This size most likely won't fit calves thicker than 46 cm, mine are 43 cm and the socks feel almost at their limit. These socks are every bit worth the money. They offer a very good fit, and don't sag after a while. I've bought them 5 months ago. They are worn and washed daily, and appear to have retained all of the strength, elasticity and comfort. The cotton is soft as the elastic is strong. I not only use them for running, i also wear them to the office and while travelling (including long haul flights). They are very comfortable, and envelope your legs with a soft, warm feeling. While flying, I feel they also prevent legs/feet from getting too dry.Me feet tend to sweat easily. These very effectively absorb moisture and keep feet dry. I've tried several other pairs...all of them caused my feet to sweat up and boil inside my shoes...not a great feeling.Usually, the socks with good compression are made of fully synthetic material which tend to dig into the skin after a few hours; they also don't control moisture well resulting in the skin feeling tender and itchy after they're taken off; e.g. Rymora Compression Socks have amazing compression, but I didn't find them ideal for all-day wearing. On the other hand, the many full cotton varieties don't offer good compression, and some don't even have adequate elasticity to stay on, like these ones: WB Socks Anti-Dvt Flight Socks Black Cotton Rich. There's also the issue of padding: the synthetic padded ones tend to overheat my feet, and the synthetic non-padded ones tend to cause an itchy feeling under the feet after a few hours. Conversely, DE's soft, cotton fabric provides natural padding that is not too thick, yet provide adequate comfort.I am very happy with Danish Endurance cotton compression socks. They're all I wear now: for running, travelling, and formal and casual dressing.DE also has the synthetic variety: These would likely suit most users living in cold/temperate climates. The cotton ones are more ideal for Mediterranean/tropical regions.

Comparison
For a lymph pooling issue, bought these and another make (based on reviews). Attracted by organic. As one might expect of something new, hard and a fiddle to put on to begin with but after a few washes easier to get on - except that chipping fingernails is a factor. Elasticity unaffected.after several washes: (cold water, then leave to dry naturally). Cannot decide whether these or the other make have made a difference to the issue, particularly since the cause of the issue is not something I can remedy for the foreseeable future - sleeping upright fully clothed and wearing shoes on a settee all night. On balance the other make is more comfortable and much easier to put on. I have bought some more of these in case they're unavailable in future and/or price increased.

Best compression socks I’ve tried.
I stand all day on a concrete floor at work, I bought these compression socks because I was getting swollen and tired legs at the end of the working day, now I have no problems at all! Great thing about them too is that they are made using organic cotton. It can be a bit of an effort to get them on, but once done they feel great.

Best compression socks I found so far.. (updated as they wore out after 3 months!)
Having tried quite a few different compression socks from Amazon and sending them back for refund within a few hours, I finally found these.Whilst they’re still a struggle and tight squeeze to get on like all I’ve tried, once on, they’re comfy all day… no squeezing and crushing of your toes like others, no painful toe seams and with them having a high cotton content they’re not itchy or overheating my feet or legs. Compression is sufficient for what I need. I’m 6’4” in my 60’s with size 10 feet and 17 inch calves with an athletic build.I use them to workout daily for an hours cardio on a spin bike, but I initially purchased them for long distance travel to ease discomfort and ankle swelling I suffer because of varicose veins, they deliver for that purpose having tried them out for 14 hr periods of time, but have also proved beneficial for my workouts, so I will be purchasing more specifically for my cardio workouts. They’re tight fitting but not uncomfortable on my size 10 feet, 17 inch calves and finish just below my knee. They’ll be washed and used daily, if they suffer any deterioration from this I’ll update this review….UPDATE!These socks wore through on the heel after just 3 months! The seller wouldn’t honour the anti hole guarantee as they claimed to have already sent me a replacement, however the replacement they sent me were for black socks that were newer than these (only 1 month old) and developed a hole even faster than these white ones!I have now down rated this review from 5 star to 1 star, as they wear out real fast…

Poor quality but good compression
Socks stay in place all day (I do 12 hour shifts, on my feet all day) and that is very pleasant. After one day already a hole in my sock. I switch between these DE compression socks and Darn Tough and Falke hiking socks and in those I never get holes.I bought them because they were cheaper than the other brands I mentioned but I won’t be buying them again.(Their bamboo underwear is amazing though, very good quality and very comfortable)

Tight on top
Very good quality and comfortable apart from the top band which was way too tight. Had to stretch the band until I ripped some of the stitching just to make it more comfortable

Feel great!
They make my legs feel better! Like most compression socks, they are hard to put on. My husband has to help me because I have arthritis all over and back problems too. I wash them on delicate and hang them to dry. I was advised to get the least compression and 1 size larger. That works for me!
