Xenoblade: The Secret File - Monado Archives Art Book

This book is amazing. Softcover, and with Japanese text of course. It's basically the Xenoblade equivalent to Xenogears Perfect Works, though it doesn't seem quite as packed full of info (but this is hard to say as I can not read any of it). The book has a foldout poster, official art of all the main characters, event & location art, early character sketches, some funny pics (like Fiora and Melia in bikinis or the party in tuxedos and dresses) but where the book really shines is the the mech designs. The designs themselves are so unique and unlike any other giant robots in any other series. The book goes into a lot of detail on the mechs, showing how they move, their propulsion systems, weapons and more. If you're a Xenoblade fan, don't hesitate, pick this up, it will amaze you. If you're worried about not being able to read it, don't worry, there's plenty of enjoyment in the art alone.

Amazing artbook! If you are a huge fan of the game series, I recommend it 100%. Bought it as a Christmas gift, and it did not disappoint.The major problem with buying Japanese artbooks, untranslated, is that they usually have a lot of interviews and general text that, unless you can read and translate Japanese with ease, is pretty useless to most (That's one reason I was very disappointed with the Nier artbook, way too much text). What's nice is that this book, while it still has lots of interviews/text, it is filled with concept art, weapons art, backgrounds, etc. It's a very thick book, and is filled with lots of goodies.

It's a very interesting book that's fun to look at the various pages. However, calling it an art book is an extreme understatement. It contains not only the affinity chart for every NPC (Non-player character) in the game, it contains biographies for each and data/commentary on almost every detail of the game. Unfortunately, the entire book is in Japanese and the lone translator I've used isn't that great. Overall though, it's a great book and I'd recommend it to fellow 'xenoblade chronicles' fans, doubly so if they want to put in some effort in translating the book.

Such an amazing book filled with information about the world of Xenoblade Chronicles! Such as: storyboards, concept art, interview quotes and so much more.Even if you don't understand Japanese words it's fine, just by looking at the artwork the fold-out poster and the amount of detail in this book you'd won't care.I had such a joy reading this book i'd highly recommend it to any hardcore Xenoblade fan or heck any book fan in general

Xenoblade Chronicles edges ever closer to my favorite game of all time, so I have to collect as much game related items that I can. This art book makes a fine addition, even with all Japanese text that is unreadable to me. Had I noticed that obvious fact, I still would have gone ahead and gotten this anyway. This is top art design and that's a boundless language.

Fantastic, beautiful book. If you loved the game, i strongly recommended this book. Even if you cant read Japanese( which I cannot, i just use an app, take a picture, and translate the words) it is amazing. Comes with a completely affinity chart and amazing character description and background of you didn’t already know.

Fantastic artbook. Great for collectors. It's written in Japanese, with a few direct translations. It has a bit over 250 pages, lots of images. Really fun to look at (mainly because I can't read Japanese). The booklet has concept art for the game, along with information about characters. It should go without saying that it would be good idea to finish the game first, because the book contains many spoilers spoilers in pictures and most likely in text also.Would recommend for collectors.

Shipping took awhile but if thats not bad enough, entire top of the book came out wrecked and torn through the plastic cover (means Amazon is at it again with book burning/wrecking, not the original jp supplier)...terrible

Vino perfectamente. Está en Japonés, pero para mi no hay problema. Lo recomiendo para fans del juego
