Q: How are they mounted?

i used large carabiners because i mounted mine from tree to tree using old garden hose and clothesline. But I imagine you can use a large hooks if you are mounting to poles

Q: How many pulleys do you get?

If I remember right, it's just one, but well worth the money. Really nice sturdy pulleys.

Q: If I remove the center piece (if it is removable) what size is the hole?

I honestly dont know how big the hole is, but it doesnt appear to be removable
