Great storage but definitely not airtight
As a container to portion out food or store ingredients, these work just perfectly. The 3 sizes are great for different applications, I just wish there was 1 more large size included. So maybe get 2 sets instead of 1.As for airtight and longer lasting food/snacks, they definitely extend the shelf life a little bit but it's nothing outstanding. A few snacks I stored in these turned out dry and stale quicker than I expected, so make sure to still enjoy whatever you put inside sooner rather than later. The lids stay on strong though, so no worry about that.They wash easily in a dishwasher and hand washed, although the large container may be a but cumbersome to hand wash.Overall, these are great storage containers but don't expect foods to last significantly longer.

Great, easy to use & works great !
These are just what I was looking for. I buy the small boxes of pastina and orzo but once the box is open, I had nothing to put the rest in. This works for that. I wish it was just a tad larger so the whole 12 oz. box, when new, would fit. They stack well so I can fit 3 on top of each other on the shelf. I cut the name of the pasta off the box and placed it in the front of the pastina so I can see what is in the container.
