I am increasingly concerned at the number of plastic bags I am using and discarding, even the ones that I reuse time and time again eventually go in the bin. I selected ny biggest offender, the 13 gallon kitchen bin bag for substitution and these bags are excellent. They are, of course more expensive but I am trying to offset that by composting and recycling so I use less bags and I feel slightly less guilty.

I've been happily using these for 6 weeks. They fit my kitchen trash can, are easy to cinch, tie and carry, and are sturdy enough for me to push down the trash to fit in more. They've been a great way to reduce a bit of my plastic use.

If you'd like to put fewer forever-plastic bags into the environment but worry that a compostable version will be prone to falling apart on the way to the dumpster, give these a try. They really are "heavy duty."

I was worried it would disintegrate before I even got it to the trash. No worries. Very generous size.

Sturdy enough and they don’t start falling apart with the first bit of moisture. The ties are strong and don’t break away when getting tied off. Highly recommended
