Why does everybody assume nowadays that I have a million in one DC5v 2A adapters laying around. WTH... 🙄I mean, I could write a product. Review on how the product works. If I could actually use it. Seriously. Wall outlets are standard. Why do I not get a standard plug in????? I mean seriously. Who wants to go and have to buy an extra part just to use the product they bought??? And since I'm already upset. Let's just talk about how things don't last either... So you send me substandard equipment. Because it doesn't have everything I need to use it. And then it's gonna break unless a year. How do I know because nobody backs up their products. You actually have to purchase that part too... 🤣I may just send it back because as far as im concerned pieces are missing.

It won't cool a large room, which was where I was using it, so I can't speak on if it actually cools a smaller room but the air that comes out it definitely cooler than a fan. It feels like air that comes out of an AC unit. I liked it! Used it when out air broke during summer. It was very easy to use.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this. After trying it out, I am very impressed. The unit itself is extremely lightweight, so can be easily maneuvered and positioned. The fan has 3 speeds. When on its lowest setting, it is pretty quiet but it also moves a fair bit of air. The highest setting is quite a bit noisier, but the airflow is potent, particularly for a device this small. There are two chambers, one on the top of the unit and the other on the bottom, which accept water for cooling. The cooling effect can be turned on or off, and seems pretty effective, although it's a little hard to know for sure as it is still just early spring here so there's been no warm weather yet. There is also an optional light that can be turned on if desired, and has a variety of colors to choose from, and there is a bit in timer so the device can be programmed to go off at a variety of intervals. Everything can be controlled from a small remote device. All in all, it's a welcome addition to my office and highly recommended!

EDIT: the seller contacted me after I left this review and offered a full refund without making me return the item. Literally no seller has ever done this so I am quite impressed. We’re at a no harm no foul point so I have reflected that in the stars rating.This doesn’t cool any more than a regular fan.The instructions are awful. They give you no idea how to use this thing on cooling mode. I finally just put ice and water in both of the tanks but I really have no idea what the purpose of the tanks are. The awful instructions say the bottom tank is for collecting condensation. Then the picture of the product shows ice cubes in the bottom tank. And THEN the video says on this very Amazon page says ice cubes in the top and only water in the bottom. WHERE DO I PUT THESE FREAKIN OCE CUBES.Anywho don’t buy. I wish I hadn’t.

The product itself is good. I have reached out to the seller 3 times asking for information on how or where I can purchase a wet curtain filter. First response was contact the manufacturer and they did not provide any info on how or where to contact the manufacturer. I tried to find who the manufacturer is and unable to find any info. Asked a second time and no response. Asked a third time and no response. Hopefully the seller will read this review and respond.

This thing is a joke. I did everything it said to do. Water and ice. It's just a freaking fan. Does not blow out "cold air". Don't waste your money on this.Edit to add: this company refunded my $ since I was not happy with the item. I'm thankful for that but really read into anything you buy. I went by reviews.
