Beautiful compass gave as an anniversary gift.

My boyfriend absolutely loved this as a Christmas gift. The belt loop strap on it broke as soon as he tried to use it but its still a great product.

My fiancé loved this. Very durable and perfect gift.

The exterior is solid brass and seems to be made extremely well, the case is even pretty nice. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the needle in the compass is either too heavy, not lubricated, or something because it doesn't turn very freely, and it is not the most accurate. That being said, this was for my 5 year old, and he thinks it is the coolest thing.

Very cute as a giftable trinket and woyild buy again but not usable as an actual compass. Just in case someone needed to know

The actual compass is nice, but did not come in the case shown. I saw another review that stated the same problem, although I only saw this after I ordered. This is a gift for the love of my life who is a lifelong sailor. He will probably love it, but I’m very disappointed that the case is just a little velvetine bag and not the leather looking one in the pics. Luckily, it it just a stocking stuffer. Please be true in your advertising. I don’t know if I would have ordered if it showed the bag instead of the case as that was part of the appeal. Maybe, maybe not, but it is what it is. Should have read All the reviews first.

I gave this item to my father for Christmas. The case is a bit small for the compass but my dad loved it.

Kinda cheap feeling and looking. Came unassembled. Compass differnt than pictured. Case feels like cardboard. Over all okay gift

Better quality than I expected. Very Durable. Goood leather pouch! Gave to grandsons as baptism gift! they love them. Would recommend.

Bought as a gift for my dad obviously. He loved it. It may have even brought a slight tear to his eye.
