Tru-SpecMen's Winter Combat Shirt

I have many combat shirts ranging from the collarless to the 1/4 and also the full. Of course the full collar Crye Percision cannot be beat however, this one from Tru-Spec really can compete as one of my favorites. It fits like the typical combat shirt but its torso section's weaved material which is thicker than a normal, hence winter shirt, contnues under the rip stop sections in the arms. It feels solid, looks really good, and it performs while not being too hot to wear in place of a jacket on a mild Summer night. If you are interested then I absolutely recommend this product.

I'm a civilian. I bought the shirt for hunting and for just hanging in the house on cold winter days. It is very warm and comfortable. I have 37-38 inch arms and the tall fits perfectly. I bought the green sleeve - black body shirt. It looks pretty official. As a civilian I probably would not wear it around town because I would not want the public to think I was a police officer or ex military. (Out of respect and my lack of training) It is very warm and comfortable, especially the lining in the sleeves.

Love this product, very durable, great value for the price, and comfortable. It can be a bit snug, to put on, but overall fits as expected. Get lots of compliments when wearing this jacket.

The winter shirt doesn’t stretch as much as the summer shirt. It’s a little tight in the pits. I would recommend going up a size. I’m 6’0’’ 200lbs. I wear a medium in the summer shirt. I went with a large for this shirt, if you have big shoulders/arms I would go up a size. I wore an under armour winter shirt under this shirt and was sweating by the end of 8 hour training in 35F weather.Very comfortable, warm and well constructed. Well worth the money.

For me, I really love a shirt that actually fits rather than hangs loose looking baggy like a sleeping bag. And that's why I'm taking the time to write a positive review on the Tru-Spec Combat shirt. Yes, I do like the velcro sides where I can add patches and yes, the abundance of well thought out pockets were a real plus, but above all else, I feel very comfortable wearing this around for everyday use as well as in the field. And while I'm sure you can buy it oversized if you like a loose fit, fo me the big plus is to have a form fitting shirt that's still functional and build to last.

This is an excellent cold weather shirt for under a tactical vest or plate carrier. Keeps you warm and comfortable while being active or at rest. It is VERY hot indoors. I do recommend going up 1 size with this one for layering purposes. I wear a medium regular. But, purchased a large and it works perfectly. I also have it in medium, but it is too snug to add layers underneath

Quality as expected from tru-spec, the body material is warm under body armor, but struggles to retain heat when windy. The sleeves are a rugged on the exterior, and are lined with the seen body material and the sleeves do a better job of retaining heat while windy. Sleeves do get very bulky if rolled. As expected in fit, functionality, and features.

This combat shirt was everything I was hoping it would be. It’s warm, true to size, not too baggy, and fits perfect under my tac vest. I’ve used layers with uniform shirts and different combinations of coats and jackets under my vest in the winter, but this thing is a game changer.
