Shadowcast for the win!
I've tried probably a dozen "recent make" glass rods and the action on all of them was too slow for my taste. The Shadowcast falls right into the sweet spot in my opinion. It's fast for glass, but slow enough to still enjoy casting it. The build quality falls into a category of rods that would cost significantly more, the cork is certainly several grades better than most high dollar rods, I can't even find any filler on mine.It's a joy to fish with and certainly backed by a great crew.
