Come in a small cardboard box, all that is needed.Bulbs feel hefty and are solidly built.Larger than normal stop/tail bulbs but should easily fit into all rear light assemblies.With the running lights on you can tell that these are brighter, and with the brake lights on again you can see that they are also brighter than normal bulbs.See pics for brightness. This is daytime ,at night they will be usefully brighter.And as LED's turn on instantly, compared to a slight lag with filament bulbs they increase your safety. A definite upgrade.

Much heavier than the original glass bulbs. I was able to fit them without too much difficulty removing panels to get to the fittings and undo the light mounts. They work well, much brighter than the old halogen bulbs. My only concern was would they be too bright and blind people so much that they rear end my vehicle! I will trial them and see how I get on, hopefully just me being overly cautious. The price is much more than halogen bulbs 💡 but if they outlast them and raise attention to other drivers without the risks then yes they are worth every penny!

It fitted my brake/foglight bulb rear assembly and didn't throw up any errors on the dash, but, once the daylight spectrum it emits passed through the red filter of the enclosure, it appears much more orange than its neighbours. Even if you decided this orange hue wasn't too orange to be confused with indicators, you'd need to swap out all companion bulbs in the unit, which are of different size and fittings in order to have them all matching up.Have swapped it back for the original incandescent ones. Not worth the hassle when the originals work just fine and blend in with the crowd and there is nothing more annoying than tailing a car with over-bright or confusing rear lights.

Contrary to the type of bulb, this 7440na did not work with my 2015 Lexus Nx300h. It threw up a warning when plugged in. Have since returned.

If your wiring is a bit tired, these will put less strain on it, being a lower wattage so will be more reliable in use. If not, they are brighter and less likely to fail than a standard incandescent bulb. It's a 2 pin stop and tail bulb. Might not work on some CAN Bus systems.
