Quit looking for screws that fit the caulk gun hole…
These are fantastic little gadgets for any DIY’er who uses anything in a caulk style tube. For me, I’d open a new tube, finish the job but was always then searching for a screw to plug the hole to keep the caulk from drying out. I also tend to be an over-caulker so cleanup is normally job 1 and my caulk box runneth over. Now I have 10 of these caulk plugs and can easily get the tube plugged before carrying on with the inevitable cleanup. These plugs also take into account that we don’t all cut the tube at the same point, so there are graduated bulbs as you move toward the large red plastic oval - meaning it’ll seal even the most open caulk tube. These were an easy decision since they solve a real problem and aren’t just “gee, they’d be nice to have” items.

Easy to use, but could use improvement
This is perfect solution to keep the caulk fresh and from getting dry. Its used as you would expect, after you are done using caulk, insert this all the way thru. However, with most caulk that are cut at angle, you do need to push this in with some force to make sure its airtight. That's where it could use some improvement where design where it will fit caulk cut at angle without having to shove it in there.

Great Caulk Blocker!
Alright, folks, gather around for a tale of triumph in the war against caulk explosions and messy mishaps! Let me introduce you to the Caulk Saver Rings – the unsung heroes of DIY sealing adventures. Now, I've dabbled in the world of caulk preservation, and let me tell you, it's a jungle out there. But fear not, for the Caulk Saver Rings have emerged as the champions of chaos, bringing order to the unruly realm of sealant tubes.Picture this: a graduated series of oval plastic rings, all nestled snugly into a single insertable piece. It's like a caulk superhero squad, ready to tackle any tube size you throw at it. Need a tight seal for your teeny-tiny nozzle? Done. Got a larger hole to plug? No problemo, amigo. Just shove it in until it's snug, wipe off the excess, and voila! You're in business. Now, I'm not one to leave things to chance, so I slapped a piece of electrical tape around mine for that extra layer of security. I mean, who wants a caulk explosion in their cabinet, am I right? But truth be told, these babies hold their own without the extra bells and whistles. And let's talk turkey here – the price is downright delightful. Think about it: each tube of decent caulk costs a pretty penny these days. But with the Caulk Saver Rings by your side, you're not just sealing tubes – you're sealing the deal on savings. Save even two tubes of caulk, and you've already made back your investment. It's like hitting the jackpot, but with sealant. So, in conclusion, if you're tired of caulk catastrophes ruining your day, do yourself a favor and snag a set of Caulk Saver Rings. They're sensible, they're well-designed, and they'll save your sanity – one tube at a time. Highly recommended for anyone who's ever wielded a caulk gun and dreamed of a mess-free existence. Trust me, your future self will thank you.

Great Product Saves Money
I’ve used all kinds of things to plug a partial-used tube of glue or caulk in the past – mostly screws and nails. They kind-of work, but I’ve often had a tube go solid. Or sometimes, the nail gets glued in and I can’t even pull it out with vice grips. It’s a waste of money to throw away a mostly-full tube. These caps are a great idea and they really work. The trick is, most glues and caulks won’t stick to this kind of plastic. The material stays liquid. Also, the head piece has rings on it that get larger towards the tab, so you can push the thing in until you get the right size to plug the tip you cut off. And the tabs themselves are a good shape to grab when you want to pull the things out.I’ve recently worked on a project where I had a number of tubes of adhesive and caulk on the go, so had several of these savers in use. When I emptied a tube, I’d simply wipe off this plug with a paper towel and it was ready to go again.Recommended.

So much simpler than other caulk savers I have used, and its just as effective
I have previously used caulk savers that are two-piece by design. There was a cone tip that you installed over the existing caulk tube tup along with a plunger that fits into this new tip to create a seal. That version works great, but it costs a little over $2. I mean $2 is not going to break the bank, but this 10-pack is more affordable yet, and with a tapered single plunger it's worked well to save both caulk and panel adhesive that I have been using on a project. Now that the adhesive and caulk I use cost about $7-8 a tube, I'm less inclined to toss a partial tube after I finish a project. So far I have left it in a tube of adhesive for 2-3 weeks and the adhesive still works and flows perfectly. I have more projects coming up this spring and I look forward to following up with a longer-term update on the efficacy of how well these little stoppers work. If nothing else these are way better than what I used to do as far as trying to cap the tip off using masking tape. That was only a band-aid solution that worked at most for a few days before the caulk would dry out in the tip requiring the tip to be opened up wider to be cleaned out.
