My nephew has taken up lacrosse and just loves it so I wanted to get him some good gear. Not great, expensive gear just in case he ended up not liking the sport, but at least something decent to get him through giving it a good try. Now he’s really involved in it and I thought I might have to upgrade his stick. Nope! No need. This beginner stick has been amazing. He says it’s lightweight and easy to run with and is now his lucky stick so no way he’s getting rid of it. It really is exceptional quality and he’s proud to sport it on the field even though there are some kids with fancier, much more expensive sticks out there. The stick doesn’t make the player I guess you could say. Would definitely buy this again.

Bought a few from academy and Dicks but turned out to be wrong style. Ordered this one on a Hail Mary and son’s school said it was perfect for 8 to 10 year old lacrosse

I ordered this for my son to try and practice lacrosse! He loves it already. This stick is pretty sturdy however it is VERY Basic when it comes to lacrosse sticks, but for the price its worth it! Just try it out and see for yourself!

Shaft is really wobbly and is not made out of metal. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT A GOOD STICK.

This is a perfect starter stick as they have named it for those looking to get into the game or for programs looking to help players out with their first sticks.This stick is slightly smaller than a regulation field players stick (see image for reference) at about 38.5 inches in length from the end of the head to the butt end piece.The head seems to be regulation size and is strung with a basic approach using mesh and a double layer of shooting strings but can also be modified by the owner to help with cradling, catching and throwing (I tested for a bit in my basement with a tennis ball and it threw pretty well) and this head has an adaptor included with it to fit the much smaller than normal shaft size.The shaft is a flexible plastic and is narrower than normal for smaller hands to help with their grip as they are learning the game of lacrosse. The butt end comes with a part that sticks out, likely to provide a reminder of proper hand positioning at the end of the stick while playing in certain situations.Overall this is a neat little stick to spread the game of lacrosse with or one to just pick up and have a quick toss with for those that love the sport but don't want to spend a lot of money on a real full sized model.

Right up front I want to say that I know very little about Lacrosse. My son has shown interest so we went with something to get started. The sizing was easy to understand and it seems to be pretty good quality. He has enjoyed learning some of the basics of ball handling so far. I just need to learn more to help support him.
