I ordered this item to add Android Auto and a backup camera to my 2010 Fusion. While it does what it's advertised to do, the screen does get flushed out in direct sunlight.✅ Good performance. During my testing, I didn't notice any lag. The UI feels responsive and smooth.✅ Acceptable audio quality. I used the 1/8th audio jack to connect the audio out to my factory radio. The sound quality is acceptable but not great.✅ Mounting. The mounting system works well but can get in the way of the front facing camera. It seems they were not taking the camera location into account when designing the mount. I was able to work around it.✅ Camera quality. The front facing camera quality is actually great. I do not know about the rear facing camera quality, as I used it with the factory camera. More on this below.✅ WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO! This is a huge plus. Being able to place my phone on my wireless charging holder in my car and have it wirelessly connect to Android Auto is amazing. No wires connected to the phone!☑️ Lets talk about the rear camera connection. It uses a 1/8th audio jack. Pretty much every other camera on the market uses an RCA jack. I ended up having to hack off the plug from the camera that came with it to adapt my factory camera to it. A simple adaptor would have been very helpful to include in the box.☑️The screen is not sunlight readable. Every screen in a vehicle should be sunlight readable. With direct sunlight on it, it's barely readable. We have the technology; this should not still be an issue in 2024.☑️Front camera location. It's difficult to get it mounted certain ways without blocking the front camera. I don't see any way they could have solved this issue without putting the camera on a cable, but I feel I had to mention it.☑️ The suction cup mount. I have reviewed other items with a suction cup mount like this. Typically, you can mount it to glass leaving the plastic on the suction cup then remove it to mount it to a surface, such as your dash. This one will not mount to the glass with the plastic in place. You have to remove the plastic and use the adhesive surface on the glass. This makes it quite difficult to remove.Overall, the device is quite usable if it's not in direct sunlight. It has good performance and acceptable sound quality. The screen is not very usable in direct sunlight, which is easily solved with the correct screen type. As long as you have a location to mount it where the sun is not directly on it, I highly recommend it. They should have included an adaptor to use with standard rear cameras.

When this system was set up it worked super well... unfortunately the adhesive piece that held the device to my windshield wore off in about 3 days...

These devices are generally all good. Where they fall down is on the FM transmitter. It's hard to find one with a clear stereo signal that doesn't jam out neighboring stations. This device is the best for FM I've tried. It costs a little more but it's definitely worth it. The user interface is one of the best I've seen too.
