This product, when applied properly, will go a long way. It doesn't take much. It works okay. For the money spent, I believe there are better product options. I watched you tube videos to pick one one out. There are several others that are less expensive that may work better. I don't know. Not going to spend more money to find out. As a coin collector myself, I was always told not to clean coins. But these will not be resold. I tried dipping them in isopropyl alcohol with a touch of salt. Do not do that. They ended up all white in color and made it harder to clean. Just a heads up. Thank you.

Works great with silver, not so much with copper
The media could not be loaded. I was told to NEVER "clean" a numismatic coin. So, that's exactly what I didn't do. I used MS 70 on a 1926 GEM BU Peace Dollar that cost $73.24. I modified my approach though. I used enough product that I could agitate the solution without actually touching the coin itself. Then to finalize the process I took a clean Q-Tip, laid it on the coin and ROLLED it on the coin's surface until the solution was absorbed. I then rinsed it in DISTILLED water (warm - room temp) and blotted it dry with LINT FREE cloth. DO NOT RUB. So, at no point was the coin "scrubbed". I was pleasantly surprised that neither the luster nor cartwheeling were adversely affected. NEVER EVER SCRUB YOUR COIN ... fair warning.

Works as advertised!
If you're not expecting this to perform miracles, but merely to "clean-up" some lightly soiled coins, you need to try this. I have many proof coins that had minor smudges or unsightly spots and this product, when used as directed, transformed these coins to original condition. I've even used it on some uncirculated Peace and Morgan Dollars with great success. It does not remove the original finish or, as far as I can tell, damage the surface of the coin.

DO NOT USE!!!!!!
This is the WORST cleaner, it’s NOT even a cleaner it’s a destroyer!!!! They advertise safe for coins, silver etc etc yet WTF!?! This is complete crap! Used as directed and it did the opposite!!! See pics.. the pics are obvious. The shiny is BEFORE the black is AFTER!!!!!These are silver and I’ve used several polish and or cleaners I won’t name to not have this review pulled. But DONT WASTE YOUR $$$!!!Thank God this was my “test” coin… what a waste.

Great for cleaning up any old coins or other items!
That Ben Franklin half dollar was covered in years of circulation crud and after using a small amount of MS-70 on a Q-tip on each side and then a water bath - this is what it looked like! The results speak for this product! I highly recommend it for cleaning up any old coin that is NOT a collector key year - know that cleaning key date uncirculated high dollar coins can reduce their value by many $$. Use this for junk Silver coins or anything that needs a little love! Use rubber gloves while using this product keep it off your fingers especially if you are cleaning many coins. It does not have a bad odor- smells light of concentrated soap. Keep out of reach of children!
