Mitt Flat Iron Travel Pouch, Small Size

I purchased two of these thru Amazon vs one of the other vendors, and, they're pretty good for the price. My main purpose with this review is to give you an idea of what will and won't fit into the smaller size pouch if you're not sure which size to purchase. I already have a different pouch that I purchased several years ago from another company that cost around $15 that I use to store my flat iron in (which is on the small side in width and about 9" long) between uses and really like it as it helps keep things looking a little more neat and less cluttered in my bathroom. The reason I purchased two more pouches is because I also now have a curling iron with a one inch barrel that's about 13" long and a combination curling iron/flat iron that's slightly less wide and about 12" long that I was just storing loose. When I found these, I couldn't pass them up for the price.Since I always wait until my flat iron is completely cooled down before placing it inside, I really can't comment on how well these pouches (or even my older one) work when putting a hot iron in them. As for the size of the small pouch - I measured it against my original pouch before purchasing and there was only about a half inch difference in width and an inch or so difference in length so I thought I could get away with the small for my other items. Well, I was wrong. The difference in width made a bigger difference than I thought it would. I always store each iron in the main pocket (duh) and I fold the cord and place that in one of the outer pockets and don't really have a need for the second pocket. So, with that in mind, here's the rundown:-My curling iron fit into the small pouch, but it was such a tight fit there was no way to use even one of the outer pockets for anything. I ended up putting that in my original pouch. So, if you have something of that size, I'd recommend getting the larger pouch.-My combination curling iron/flat iron fit into the small pouch and the cord fits into the outer pocket, but it *just* fits. There's no way I can use the other pocket to store anything else like a brush, etc. If I had it to do over, I'd probably get the larger pouch for this just because it'd be easier to fit the cord in. I don't care about storing anything else in the other pocket, but if you do then I'd get the larger pouch.-My small flat iron fits in the small pouch with no problem and the cord fits into the outer pocket no problem. There's a little bit of room to fit something that's not too wide into the second pocket (a comb, folding brush or the handle of an average brush leaving the head sticking out of the pocket), but don't expect to fit the head of a normal size brush in there. Since I only use the pouch for storage, this isn't an issue for me and the small pouch is fine. If you want to use it to travel and put a regular sized brush or other hair product in there, you might want to go with the larger size.Otherwise, the pouch overall is pretty nicely made. My original pouch's material feels a little bit more padded, but not all that much considering the price difference. These pouches also have a loop at the top so you can hang them. I'd definitely recommend them, just make sure you get the right size for your needs. Hope this helped!

Buyers be aware that this is the small size but there is a large size out there too, so purchase what works for your heat tool. This worked perfectly for my hair straightener and does the job. I appreciate the pocket for the chord as well - a specific requirement for me when I was looking for a travel pouch. My only issue is that the fabric on the outside (with the flower print) looks cheap and faded, which kind of made me feel like the price should've been lower.

This is just perfect to toss in a suitcase or over night bag for those "quick" fixes. It heats up quickly and does a super job.

I bought this for my travel flat iron and it works. After curling, when hot, put it in sleeve and off I go. No issues :-)

this is a must have if you travel and the last thing you do in the mornings is your hair..You can tuck the curling iron in the pouch and you are on your way.
