Perfect for proofing sour dough
I bought this heating mat because we keep our house cool and it takes my sourdough bread dough a long time to proof. So far, after several uses, it still maintains the right temperature to proof my sourdough in a very short time. Recommend.

Very basic heating mat
I live in the south and start my seedlings in early January to get stuff outside before it gets too hot. So I'm starting seeds when it is pretty cold. I start them inside but it can get fairly cold in my house overnight.Last year I had a really terrible germination rate on my seeds and decided that a heat mat might help. I used this mat to start seeds this year and I have ended up with a better germination rate but I'm not completely sure if it is due to the mat or not.I originally considered trying to start seeds in my garage this year but without a temperature control on the mat, I was not sure if it would get warm enough in my cold garage. So I decided to start them inside still. The mat can hold a tray of seedlings. I usually only to a half tray so there was plenty of extra room on the mat.It is really easy to use. Plug it in and it gets warm. There are no controls or adjustments. I feel like the temperature was maybe a bit too high for inside but a bit too cool for my garage. I kinda wish there was an adjustment. Otherwise, I just plugged it in and waited for a week for things to sprout.I have a lid to capture humidity and keep the dirt moist while waiting for things to sprout. I think if you did not have that then this would dry the dirt pretty quickly. I had some late sprouts and had to turn off this mat after I took off the lid because I could not keep the plants moist with the extra heat. This product seems good but I think I need to do a bit of research next year to make sure I utilize it better.

Small but great
Great heat mat for my small table top for starting a batch of seedlings by a bright window.

A Warm Welcome for Our New Nursery Seedlings
We've recently introduced this Seedling Heat Mat to our new plant nursery area, gearing up for starting seedlings. It's a small change, but one that's set to make a big difference in how we kick off our plant growing season.First things first, the ease of use here is a big win. It's a straightforward 'plug and play' setup, which is exactly what you want when you've got a million other things to do around the farm. No fuss, no muss – just plug it in, and it's ready to go.The size of this mat is pretty spot-on for our needs. It's oversized, fitting a standard 1020 tray with room to spare, which means we don't have to play Tetris trying to get all the cells to fit onto the mat. That extra space is a small but significant convenience.Another feature we're quite pleased with is its waterproof design. Easy to wipe clean – and let's be honest, anything that's low-maintenance cleaning-wise is a bonus on a busy farm.So far, there haven't been any downsides to this heat mat. It does what it's supposed to do without any complications or issues, which is really all you can ask for in a product like this.

Been Using for a Month Straight & Still Going Strong!
This is a nice, large seedling heat mat that is kind of padded but still waterproof. It's different than another I own but I love this one! It keeps the seedlings at the absolute perfect temperature. I had shocking pepper seed germination (48 germinated out of 50 seeds started) when I normally struggle to get pepper seeds to germinate indoors in January and then only half make it. Some peppers began popping up after only 5 days on the heat mat, although some took up to 12 days. Now I'm absolutely DROWNING in baby pepper plants and the tomatoes were germinating in 72 hours on the heat mat. I took the tomatoes off so they wouldn't get too leggy. This mat has been a seed-starting miracle!Even better, it has been plugged in for 34 days straight and is still going strong, maintaining nice, even heat. I have no plans to unplug it for the next month while I keep the smallest veggie starts warm. You will NOT regret using a heat mat for your starts! This really does help the most stubborn, finicky seeds get going!

Seedling Heat Mat 11.5"x 22.5" - Warms nicely
This review is for Seedling Heat Mat 11.5"x 22.5",25W Waterproof Warm Hydroponic Heating Pad for Greenhouse Seed Starting, Germination, Indoor Gardening,2024 Upgraded. This spring I'm trying growing seeds for the first time and most of the seeds I picked recommended warmer soil temperatures. This product is a good size. It was rolled up very tightly, but after putting it between boxes it smoothed out pretty well. It heats up quickly when plugged in and felt warm to the touch. It's still too early for planting, but this should work great.
