Mold work as intended. I use these more for my coolers when going longer distance in addition to cube ice. It helps out a lot.

OK, so I did not actually make gigantic ice cubes as the title suggests. I chose this product for an unusual, unadvertised purpose: Using it as a silicone mold for resins and also as a good container for similar projects that are smaller but need a deep, easily cleaned, high-heat resistant container. And each bin has worked out perfectly for those intended uses! They are large—probably larger than you’re expecting—and thick. I have absolutely zero concerns about the silicone stretching too much in a way that leads to thin spots or tearing. Despite the size and thickness, they remain flexible. I’d say, especially for the designed use of making ice, they would be the perfect combination of sturdiness and flexibility: The sides won’t sag or flop in or fail to maintain the overall shape; and yet they will pull back readily to eject the ice block inside. This product is easy to recommend, especially for the price. Enjoy your gigantic ice cubes! (And please invite me over if you figure out how to make cocktails that these things can chill…)

Holy moly, these things make enormous ice blocks! I ordered this set to use in my cold-plunge tub. It's tough to get something this size really chilly without an eyebrow-raising quantity of ice, and I'm certainly not interested in buying bags and bags of ice each time I want to force myself into the plunge tub. These silicone molds stack for easy storage when not in use. The proportions are also good for use in my standing freezer, so I can keep them at the ready. No more excuses for not getting in my plunges post-workout anymore.The molds have decent grip around the top lip so it doesn't take much work to get the blocks out of the molds. They're also reasonably thick, and thus I expect these to stand up to repeated, regular weekly use. I placed the molds on an easy-access shelf in my freezer and then filled them using a water pitcher to direct the water flow. It may be tricky to walk these fully loaded with liquid to their destination otherwise, since they don't have lids.

I like the size but had 1 break through the bottom in the freezer. Be sure to place on a hard surface and not a rack.

This thing makes ice blocks that you could make an igloo with. Very solid construction. Sturdy. What's nice is that it will sit flat on some what uneven surfaces so you can make ice in your freezer if you have other stuff in there. Easy to get the ice out for your cold plunge bath. A pain to fill back up and freeze but this makes things easy.

This huge blocks kept our food and beverages cold all the time, we broke the blocks in to pieces.The silicone molds are sturdy and it took 24 hour for the ice to freeze.Reusable, dishwasher safe.
