Regardless of other reviews, my experience with this desk has been really good. Assembling took a bit of time and a screw label was F instead of G but nothing impossible to solve and was instructions were simple and easy enough to follow. For £50, I can't expect anything more or better. It fits my tiny make do space perfectly snug. Looks gorgeous and sturdy enough for laptop, extra monitor and all peripherals. I'd say its a sure 5 star product. I'd highly recommend it.

It was fairly easy to assemble and I was impressed as everything lined up properly and I didn't have to do any drillings as with some other flat-pack furniture in the past until I came to fit the runners for the sliding keyboard panel. The runners came assembled as a set and there was no instruction on how to separate them in order to fit them on to the panels. The picture instructions shown were for a different type of runners. Also there were some errors in the assembly instructions booklet. I have contacted the supplier and awaits for their response. In the mean time I have given 3 stars rating and shall update this review and the ratings when the problem resolved.Update 10.08.2024. Following flagging up the assembly instruction problems with the supplier, the response was quick, and I received the correct information for me to finish off the assembly successfully. The supplier gave the impression that they were customer focused and genuinely wanted the customers to be fully satisfied with their product and after sales service. I can therefore 100% recommend this product based on price, quality and after sales service.

Positive points• arrived 2 days after ordering.•packed brilliant and everything is labels with numbers and letters.•looks Nic all together.Negative points• The box it was delivery in stunk awful -the house smelt after it.• The holes for some of the screws were way too small - blistered my hands trying to screw them In and chipped th paint work.• the are two ledges that support the sliding keypad part but they don't have holes to screw them in so you have to guess when to screw them in• Once the desk is finished it is very wobbly and the screw are all tightly in.I'm just hoping it survives but imag the minuteits doing the job needed :)Not sure I would 100% recommend this.

I disliked assembling this piece it was fairly difficult and there isn’t holes to assemble the last part so you’ll have to use a drill or buy one.It also started to chip really easily so that wasn’t great and i would not recommend buying at all.

It's assembled, all the screws are done up TIGHT, but it still wobbles if you lean on it.I found I was making repairs even while I was assembling -- glueing bits of veneer back on, for example.You need to partially dismantle the metal runner system for the sliding tray. There are no instructions for this; there is a black plastic catch just visible with the runner system.I also found I needed to repair the runner system one side while assembling -- one side, the section attached to the desk, one of the ball bearing races came out, then that whole subassembly fell to bits. It took a while to work out how to reassemble it with both ball bearing races in position.
