The New Adventures of Batman / The New Adventures of Superman (DBFE) [DVD]

It was great to go back in time when movies were real movies. Children love it and it brought back a lot of memory so I guess that I will be looking for the oldies now.

This DVD Collection does not include the Superboy episodes originally aired onThe New Adventures of Superman (1966). I was disappointed when I discoveredthese episodes were missing from the collection.

I truly enjoyed this set...it was one of Filmation best work with Superman... Was expecting the Filmation to be the 60's Batman but what you got was the 70's series with Batmite... Lol quality of shows were awesome and the audio was great.. package art could if been better.. But can I say.. Lol

Either the information on the site is misleading showing a Double Feature DVD case or it was just my luck of the draw. As the picture attached shows, I received two separate DVD cases. If you are a collector this will be great. If you are careful with your space and storage it might be an issue. I have not watched The New Adventures of Batman but The New Adventures of Superman was damaged. Disc 1 plays with no issues until "Neolithic Nightmare" then it stops and TV screen goes black. I tried different Blu Ray and DVD players and they will not play the episode. I did not see any issues with disc 2. Also the DVDs were loose inside (Disc 2).Other than that, the cartoons are not remastered and yes they are 5 to 6 minutes long as it was meant originally. Superboy was a different series of cartoons so I do not understand why others are complaining that is not on the DVD. EDIT: Further research done. Warner Brothers are the ones responsible for bad DVDs. There is information online on even new sealed DVDs will turn unplayable. Time to check my collection.

I'm a old batman nut this is a must have for the bat collector
