Beautiful peel🌺
I haven’t used it yet… will probably do that later today😊. Nice chiseled in front❣️I LOVE that it’s not aluminum… it’s WOOD and beautiful at that😊. I believe it’s acacia wood, which is very durable ❣️Also they sent me a coupon for a pair of pizza scissors…. Free. What??? 😝It looks to do what I need … is to turn the pizza…..If I’m not happy with it, I’ll come back and review!Maybe come back and review the ease of it?We have an Oni (Pellet fire) pizza oven and a Black stoneThanksTake care❣️

Beautiful turner
It’s a little thick for a pizza turner. But works well to put smaller pizzas in oven

Perfect for me oven
Its the right size and right quality for my oven. My existing paddle was to wide, and I would have issues sliding the pizza in and not destroying the masterful creation But now, with this paddle, I am a force to be reckoned with.

Large, well-made wooden pizza peel
I like that this pizza peel is all wood and beautiful in appearance. It’s also narrower, so it’d be more friendly to smaller pizza ovens. My only concern is the tapered lip on the end. Both sides have a taper, which is nice so that you don’t have to only orient it one way, but it still has roughly a 1/8” flat lip at the end (meaning the taper doesn’t come to a point). This makes the peel more solid and less prone to chips at the end, but also leaves a built in ridge that you have to get past the edge of a pizza crust. The narrower this is, the more effortless it’d be to get the peel under the pizza. I’ll update this review if I have issues with consistently getting the peel under pizzas.

Attractive and Utilitarian Pizza Peel
This is a sturdy, well-crafted pizza peel. It does a great job rotating and removing pizzas, and I am very happy with it. Its almost-3-foot length provides great reach into even the deepest ovens. Width-wise, it could perhaps ideally be larger; any pizza with a diameter over 9 inches is going to droop off the edges. The peel slides fairly easily under a pizza, with its tapered front edge. Note that the taper is beveled in both directions, and comes to a point midway through the peel's thick 5/8-inch height. This makes getting under a pizza slightly more difficult than peels whose taper terminates at the bottom of their thickness. I may resolve this myself by just reshaping the bevel. Also, only the front edge is tapered, so there's no approaching a pizza from the side or at an angle. This pizza peel's acacia hardwood construction is not only durable, but also very attractive. Hanging on the wall when not in use, the large peel adds a touch of Neapolitan warmth to my kitchen. (Just be careful to store it out of direct sunlight, which can dry, crack, and warp acacia.)On an adult note, my girlfriend almost immediately pointed out to me that paddles are good for more than just pizza. Something to consider....
