While Sony has a reputation for quality, this product falls short in several key areas:Negatives:Outdated App and Equalizer: The app feels outdated and clunky to use. The music equalizer, which should elevate the listening experience, is terrible and far below expectations for a product in this price range.Bass Performance: The bass is underwhelming and lacks the depth and punch that you would expect from a Sony product marketed as a music system.Battery Life: With mega bass turned on, the battery life is only about 4 hours, which is disappointing. Additionally, the charging time of 3 hours is excessive for such limited playback.Better Alternatives Available: At this price, there are much better Bluetooth speakers available in the market that outperform the SRSV500 in both sound quality and features.Positives:Durability: The only redeeming quality of this product is its build. It feels sturdy and durable, which is typical of Sony.Conclusion: Sony needs to rethink its approach to this product. The mobile app is not so good. Sound quality is good. Mixer type control would be useful.
