Dawsons Living Black Wheelie Bin - Outdoor Wheel Bin for Trash and Rubbish - Rubber Wheels - 240L

We had recently moved into a new build property in Scotland and the local councils only provide free recycling bins. A general waste bin is around £60 and can take up to 12 weeks delivery. This product was ideal as I was able to get next day delivery on Prime and was paying roughly the same. The product is roughly the same size as the standard council bins. It’s possibly 1/2cm smaller but it’s not even noticeable. Great size and sturdy,

Apart from the not so funny pun, it’s fine. It was either this or an 180 litre replacement from the council. Still getting that as a back up shhhh. What do they think we suddenly use less waste? Why do we even pay tax these days? It’s fairly easy to put together. Was not packaged great. The box it came in was broken at the bottom and had a chunk out. Personally do not like the sticky out strips of grip on the handles as the plastic wasn’t smoothed off. It’s a wheelie bin not a bicycle. I sanded it down with some sand paper.

A Decent bin, both wheels and the axle look good.The packaging was excellent.Assembly is simply a matter of pushing the axle through the bottom of the bin and attaching the wheels, very easy, 2 minute job.The main body of the bin feels thinner than a council bin, and the lid is noticably thinner plastic, if has a lot more "give", but at the price point (£60) it seems decent enough.Will see how it lasts!!!! Sturdy, value for money

I ordered the black version of this product. The bin was delivered in a massive box, but as a result it was all in one piece. Assembly was simple - push in two lugs to act as the hinges on the lid, push the first wheel onto the axle, push the axle through the base, and push the other wheel onto the other side. It took longer to get the box open and check the contents than it did to assemble it.It has now been in use for a few months and is still as good as new. I added some identity labels (also from Amazon and properly reviewed) which helps prevent bins being moved or making it easier to get them back!Overall this is a good product at an acceptable price and I recommend it.
