Starbucks - Roasted Whole Bean Coffee - 16 oz - Pack of 2 (Komodo Dragon Blend)

We love Starbucks Komodo Dragon and were missing it, since we won’t go into stores during the pandemic. So, I was really pleased to find I could get it through Amazon. I was a bit uncomfortable that there was no “best before” date to be found on either of the two packages or the box. It was unusual, too, to not have some aroma escape from the vacuum seal when squeezing the bag. But the real disappointment is that the contents taste nothing like the Komodo Dragon we have been buying from Starbucks, since it was introduced - NOTHING! None of the aroma or taste. We grind our beans fresh for every pot, so do know a good cup of coffee - this does not make a good cup!

I am an avid Starbucks consumer, @ home only. Something here is definitely missing the mark in terms of strength and taste. I find myself having to add more to get the same kick as Holiday, Caffe Verona, Pike or French Roast. To be honest, for a dark roast, it seems kind of weak. With a name like "Komodo Dragon", I expected something a little wicked, but it's only slightly above mid-range strength.I am definitely glad that I stocked up on Holiday Roast, and can get Caffe Verona, either here or at BJ's. Those two are definitely worth it, moreso than the Komodo Dragon...

After brewing a pot the coffee tasted old. Not the deep rich flavor I expected. This is my favorite Starbucks blend and these bags are just not that good. Tastes old and the beans look dried out.

I love the komodo dragon Starbuck's blend, the bad review is for the seller. This 2 pack of coffee beans arrived EXPIRED. The lack of smell made me look at the expiration date, and the expiration year on the package is very carefully scratched out, on both packages! My bags expired in 11/2021 - I ordered in January 2022. Strategically dishonest, do not buy from this seller!!!

I ordered this product in January 2022. The product I received had an expiration date of November 2021. I will never order this again!

This coffee is a rich dark roast with a smooth flavor

The Dragon coffee I ordered is wonderful, and will most likely be ordering more in the future.
