Bedtime Budda tea from Komo is a good solution to that problem--I can have my tea and ...
As I get older, I find that I have to be more careful about caffeine intake in the evenings or I may not be able to sleep well. Bedtime Budda tea from Komo is a good solution to that problem--I can have my tea and sleep too! I didn't note that the tea made me feel sleepy per se, but it also didn't interfere with my sleep. The flavor is very soothing. I can definitely taste the chamomile and the mints but no flavor is overpowering of the others. I will say that I did not use enough tea the first time I made it because it didn't have quite as much flavor as I would have liked, but that's just a personal preference sort of thing.Brewing is very easy (the instructions are printed on the label for those who are not familiar with brewing tea) and it can be brewed for as long as desired because it won't get bitter. I left my infuser in my cup while I drank the tea and noted no degradation of flavor between the first sip and the last sip. As fall approaches and evenings get cooler, I can see myself drinking Bedtime Budda fairly often as I study or read.I received a sample of the team in exchange for my review. I'm always upfront with sellers that I won't give a good review unless the product warrants one--I'm not afraid to call out problems with a product. In this case, however, there are no negatives to be called out. It's all good!

chamomile is the overwhelming flavor; a nice substitute for Sleepytime Tea from Celestial Seasonings
This reminds me a lot of Sleepytime Tea by Celestial Seasonings. The chamomile is the overwhelming flavor and scent. I was actually a bit surprised this had any rooibos in it, because I really couldn't taste it. But, that would explain the vibrant reddish color (which chamomile tea would never have on its own). The mint (both peppermint and spearmint) is more subtle.Did this put me to sleep? No. But I drank it in the afternoon at work (I do tend to prefer herbal teas in the afternoon so I don't suffer from insomnia later). I do think it was relaxing, and would be totally appropriate before bed. And to be fair, pretty much no sleepytime or bedtime tea has ever made me sleep, I guess that's just not in my physiology. This is a loose leaf tea. It stands up to a wide variety of brewing conditions. You can use a little or a lot, and you can safely steep it for a long time without bitterness. You can use boiling water or water from a hot water machine (or from the little hot water spout on a coffee machine). So it is versatile, that way.Overall, I'm quite happy with this. The one thing I don't love is that, while there are some large pieces, many pieces are also small, and they started clogging my tea infuser so the water wouldn't drain from it when I removed it from my mug. (I am using a glass mug with a glass tea infuser that fits neatly inside. There are slits in the infuser for draining water. I think one of the stainless steel ball-style infusers might not have the same problem, for what it's worth.)Product provided by the seller for evaluation purposes.

Siddhartha's Favorite Bedtime tea
Even Siddhartha Gautama had to sleep sometime. So maybe he did sip a cup of chamomile tea, with little bit of spearmint and peppermint. Who can say what South Africa bodhisattva told Buddha about the health benefits of Rooibos and Honeybush tea. Both teas are low in tannins, free from caffeine, high in minerals, and help insomnia. Since Chamomile is relaxing, and the mints soothing, you mix it all together, and its the perfect cup to take to bed with you. The tea brews up a warm, reddish color. A little bit of honey, or some other sweetener, helps to bring out the flavor. I used 2-3 teaspoons of loose tea for a 16 oz mug, and brewed it for at least 10 minutes (herbal teas have no tannins, so you can't make it bitter from over brewing). Its very tasty tea. About the only negative thing I can say, is that I was too tired to go downstairs and brew up a second cup. A final observation -- all the ingredients are certified organic by the CCOF.I received a promotional product in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Nice cup for relaxation
This flavor, when steeped the full seven minutes (I prefer strong brews), favors the roobois. The chamomile comes out with the addition of sweetener. It is earthier due to roobois than other types meant to relax you. I doubled my sweetener share to bring out the taste. It is not as bold as the Happy Belly variety for digestion, but it did calm me. A bit pricy, but at 8 oz. per serving, you can get about 15 cups out of the bag, and loose leaf is always better than teabags.
