Sk8pole Aluminium Pole

The quality of the product is fine, and it does what it is supposed to do. My issue with this product is that there is no warning to be careful about where you place it. Make absolutely sure you lift it clear of your skateboard every time, and push to one side or the other. I accidentally let it touch down in front of the board, the board hit the pole instantaneously and my body hit the pavement immediately, resulting in serious head and hand injuries which took a long time to heal. Some may argue it is just common sense not to put the pole in front of the board, but my point is that the tip grips so well, that even the slightest accidental touch down in front of the board can result in very serious injury. Please be very careful about this when using this product. Also, in reality, you can never get the kind of leverage with a pole that you can get with a simple push with your leg. O.K. if you want a bit of an upper body workout.

I'm almost 240 pounds currently riding a quest super cruiser, this pole outperformed the slightly more expensive aluminum land paddle poles available via Amazon. As long as you use decent form (keeping both hands above the twist lock ) it will never slip ... I'm over 40 and overweight :-) this pole has taken everything I threw at it rediscovering the zen of land surfing

This was sturdy and did what I wanted it to - while riding my skateboard. It was nice that it can be set at different heights so that I could lower it or make it higher, depending on who was using it.

If youre looking for a land paddle but dont want to drop the big bucks that other companies want for theirs this is a great option, easy to adjust and the fact that its collapsible makes it really convenient for packing for travel or small trunk space

Once adjusted properly the pole holds firm. I read another review that stated otherwise but I have been using it quite extensively and it holds firm. The rubber boot at times slips the street but I think it is just my technique.

This works well for general long boarding. Kids will love it as an addition to their boarding. I like that I can borrow it for occasional boarding.

awesome to use with a long board. Just make sure you learn how to use it before you ride fast as you could trip easily.

good overall and gets the job done. fells flymsy but it holds. make sure everything is tight all the way from the rubber tip to the length adjustment. I would like the bamboo stick better but to much$$$. this one will do for now.
