Thought I would try this because !) it uses more of the fish than the one I had been using, and...
...it comes from Alaska. Yet when I received it I thought I was going to have to take away at least one star because the 'zipper' part of the package has to be 'learned' to get it to close completely - or at least the package in the order I received proved to be so. But after learning there are Types 1 and 3 collagen and experiencing superior results with Hearthy Foods I will be sticking with a 5 star - and this product.

Not so sure
This is my first time trying marine collagen. Used it twice so far. Easy dissolvable, no taste and no smell, moreover, you will not even remember that you added a scoop. The drink does not thicken so i am not sure of the product quality. Bovine collagen - you can definitely see the water get thicker, where this marine collagen - nothing at all. Maybe i need to increase the dosage, but still.

No taste at all. I hate fish, so this is a blessing
I am drinking this with a cup of coffee, as I write this review. I love it, it mixes well and has no taste at all. The taste was my main concern, because I don’t like fish. I will report back later on, when I begin noticing changes in the appearance of my skin. Probably in a month or so. I am so glad that I bought this brand of Marine collagen.

Strong smell/taste, clumps more than others
This brand clumps more even in warm liquids than other brands. It also has a stronger taste and smell. It's not a fishy taste, but it is unpleasant and is detectable in strong tea or similar types of drinks. This would not be my first choice for collagen.

More than 1/8 product missing
Like another reviewer, I have received a few packages of Hearthy Foods Wild Caught Marine Collagen that were short one or two 10-g servings, but my latest bag is missing at least 50 g of powder. (The photo shows the package right after I opened it and realized it looked and felt light; the scoop is still in the bag.) This latest package being short on product means that in my experience exactly half of my purchases have been underfilled (three out of six). Until Hearthy Foods improves their quality control I will look elsewhere for my marine collagen.
