Very nice pair of chaps. My son and teen grandson will be trying them out during hunting. My granson will also probably take them on the couple of Scout camps he'll attend this summer. They are quite well-made, and we were impressed with the quality.

I cannot image wearing these snake chaps in hot weather.

I ran into a rattlesnake on my farm a few weeks ago, so I picked these up to get me through the end of snake season. It is one size fits all and made of thick material. It is a nice camo patterns that fits well over your pants. Thankfully, I haven't run into another rattlesnake yet, so I haven't been able to test how well it keeps out venom, but the thickness of the product gives me some reassurance that it will work well. If I run into another venomous snake and these get tested against it, I will try to come back and update my review.

I actually do not have any poisonous snakes in my area but when I saw these, a light went on and I had to try them. One of the hazards of weed whacking, especially where I weed whack, is flying rocks. The string picks up a rock and flings it at high speed in random directions, even up in your face! But a more common point of impact is the shins and I have the bruises and scars to prove it.I have looked and looked for a decent pair of weed-whacking chaps and could not find anything that worked well. These Snake chaps are perfect! The snake-bite-proofing layer in the shin area offers great protection and I am no longer getting injured in my yardwork efforts!Aspects of the chaps more applicable to avoiding snake bites would include:- thick protective layer from the knees down- securely covers lower leg with overlap on boots- easy to put on and take off- comfortable to walk in- nice quality, very sturdily builtSo whether you are avoiding snakes or rocks, I think this is a great product. These are working out very well for me.

These chaps offer good protection in snake country. I'm confident the thickness will keep me safe. They are very well made and adjust to fit just about anyone. They will come in handy while picking wild blackberries or walking through thick brush. Very pleased with them.

These are beautifully constructed and should last for years. Our family looks forward to trying these out on our next hunting trip. We'll need more for the family and will need to get some for friends as gifts!
