Great product for intermittent use
The first time I used these I left one plugged into a monitor 24/7. After about 3 weeks of being plugged in it gave out. I reached out to the company and they very nicely explained to me that my application was clearly a commercial application and they referred me to one of their commercial grade products.They then gave me a refund, EVEN THOUGH I WAS OUTSIDE OF THE RETURN PERIOD.Since I bought two receivers, I continued to use the second one, but not in a commerical setting like the other one. It has run flawlessly.One thing I like most is that once you have it configured, all you have to do the next time you use it is plug it in and turn it on. It really takes the headache out of external monitor setup. All I have to do with any monitor is plug in the device. After that I don't have to change the sound output settings on my computer, and I don't have to adjust the resolution.Display quality is 100%.Overall, I'm very happy.

Transmits okay to maybe 35 feet; none of these support HDMI splitter output
I am needing an HDMI transmitter with 2 receivers that will reach about 40 feet inside an RV. I have tried out 3 other transmitter/receivers here and returned them. One worked very well but didn't support interlaced video (really). The rest of the others didn't work indoors in my home at 45-50 feet, line of sight, no obstructions. What I noticed with this one (and probably all of them since they all look pretty much similar), is that the range is grossly overstated and they don't work if the video signal comes from an HDMI splitter. I have a Blu-ray player (Oppo) that has 2 HDMI outputs. Most Blu-rays have only one. If you need to split the signal first for it to play in one room and then transmit to another room, these transmitter/receivers will not work. That information needs to be stated in the product description. If the output goes only to the transmitter and each receiver then goes to a TV monitor, it should work but only within about 30 feet or so.

Works well, but pricey
Pricey for what you are getting, but this is the only setup on Amazon I found that was expandable so I could add another receiver. Everything worked out of the box, no issues.
