It took about 6 hours to fully charged and last for 18 hours. Nice camping product but I use it for my office.

It works well
This works well. The first time I tried to recharge it with the solar panel, it didn't work hardly at all after being outside all day. Then, the next time, I made sure that it faced the sun directly all the time, and after a few hours, it was fully charged.

Such a great product, I bought a second one!
Several fan and light settings! I was skeptical about the solar charging capability, but it was unfounded. A few hours in the morning sun and it charges to full!Once full, it can cool you down for days!

Not good if using solar to recharge
I purchased this along with a larger solar panel and sadly neither held up to my needs. I needed to purchase fans that are rechargeable through solar since I am preparing for hurricane season and while charging through an electrical outlet does give the fan a long lasting use the solar panel didn’t hold up to provide an adequate charge.First, I tried to charge it off solely off the grid attached to the fan. I must have left it out all day and it didn’t go past the first mark. I thought maybe the panel wasn’t large enough to charge it, so I bought a second larger solar panel and still got the same results, a small insufficient charge.I really need a reliable device that can recharge via solar panel since I may not have access to electricity should a hurricane knock out power. Sadly, this won’t work for me. However if you only need it for one use at a time and can charge through an electrical outlet this will work and has a good amount of strength to keep cool.
