Do not buy it is totally inefficient !!!
Do not buy this machine it is very expensive and does not cool the room at all. The only place that is cool is directly in front of it. I am very disappointed and still very hot!!

Robust
I've used three units both in a commercial and residential setting, going on three years. They have been super duper reliable. 2 of them run 24 hours a day to cool IT equipment in a server room, a third sits in my home and is used sporadically. They're all cooling as well as they did when they were new.No more noise than when they were new.Very easy to use.

I've run 2x FSC14's for 5 years and have found them to be hugely reliable & efficient....
I realise there is already a 1 star review here so I thought I would balance that up with my positive experience, I'm guessing the woman who left the review had the machine set up wrong or at least had it replaced so should have come back to leave a proper review that was not in the heat of the moment - a common problem with reviews IMO.I run my two FSC14's at my industrial unit. One cools and dehumidifies a room used for mixing & storing baking goods so is very dusty. I run this one 24/7/365. The second unit sits outside a room housing heavy production equipment which causes a lot of heat when it runs. I send the cool air in to the room using a 6m pipe and a second 6m pipe is used to take the hot exhaust air outside - this is the only unit that will do this (that I have found). This second FSC14 runs 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Both units have been running reliably for 5 years, however I have found this year that both are cooling less so the gas must be coming to an end - I don't know yet if I can add fittings to get these re-gassed, I'll certainly try!I have bought most other well known, and some less well known, portable a/c units, usually at a cheaper price, and they have always been a false economy because they only last in my dusty environments for between 2-6 months before giving up the ghost (running 24/7). I am an engineer and I take the housings off my units every 3-6 months or so to clean all the components and the condenser of dust and muck. Whilst I appreciate that most people would not need do this, it does give me an opportunity to look at the design and component quality and these FRAL units get top marks from me, very neat and well thought out using robust big name components. The only down side is price, but as they say, 'you get what you pay for'.
