These are Converse... don't purchase these looking for a running shoe or something with great arch support because you won't find it here. Guess what though? You can buy inserts for that part. (pardon the little dirt - I wore them all day at a theme park in Colorado called Santa's House/North Pole.These shoes are AWESOME. I got the Pink/Seahorse color and I am over the moon. The first day I wore them I had dozens of compliments from kids and adults alike. I LOVE these shoes and I'm really very pleased with them and the seller I ended up with - they were backed by Amazon.

Don't size down if you have wider feet!
I have wide feet, at least for the Converse game...I always have to purchase converses at at least a 7 in both womens and unisex. They will still get uncomfortable on me after walking a few miles, but it is much more bearable than the alternative of having super squished toes right out the gate. (I wear a 6.5 in wide toed shoes and most heels and sandals, and a 7 in many casual (narrower) shoes, running shoes, and certain flats).Bottom line: don't size down unless you have narrow feet!
