Not like the old fashioned ones I remember.

I was expecting these to be a little more like the ones I grew up with—yeah they were plastic, but they were also fairly durable. We've had these just a few days and already several of the pieces are busted. The poor guy in the picture lost his feet. Is it more real that way? The pieces are skinny and smaller than I remember.They're still fun to play with and my kids had a blast setting them up and fighting. We used to take them outside and make miniature battle zones with them and that's still possible though I'm not sure if the sun would completely melt them.

They are plastic soldiers, but the worst quality ones I have come across to this date. I obtained these to enhance playtime with my grandson. He wanted more ground troops for our campaigns. I am grateful that he has a good imagination because these 300 bits of cheap plastic do not compare in quality to the set we purchased from our local chain big box store! I included a picture to show the vast difference between them. The delivered soldier is silver and on the left, the chain store soldier is green and on the right.Their appearance is far less detailed than the pictures shown in the advertisement. Some have edges that scratch. All the gun barrels that stick out bend so easily that I am sure many will be broken during play. These soldiers are short in comparison to most of the sets sold at this time.I didn't expect perfection at this price point and the sheer amount of soldiers included. However I did not expect such poor quality either.I don't have the desire to count them, it would just be too much to discover there are not 300 soldiers here.
