This thing is awesome. I travel around fishing all over the place and I go through a lot of line. I can stick this thing to my windshield or the side of my truck and put on new line without it getting all twisted up. Some places I go there are so many snags I reline 2x a night. This will make it a lot easier. My only suggestion to purchasers is to get two washers to put between the spring and deallykabobber holding the spool in place. When you really get cranking the spring can hang up a little. I fixed to problem for ten cents in washers.

Awesome spinning reel restring tool that no angler should live without, it is very sturdy and stays put with it's supplied suction cup and it applies just the right amount of drag on your fishing line spool when you are stringing or re-stringing your spinning reel, wonderful tool and included complimentary fishing scissors. I highly recommend this tool.

It's mainly for the smaller spools and won't fit the larger spools. But, it adheres well & works great for those spools of line.

I read that the suction cup doesn't work well I noticed that you have to put it on a surface with no faults or imperfections mainly wood if it's laminated it works well Just needs a even surface to grab onto

Better than the rest. This unit has a wider bar to accommodate larger spools, which is why I got it. My other unit was shorter and I had to eliminate the springs and one bushing to get a larger spool to fit the bar. Although this worked it effected tension while winding. With this unit you can adjust tension with spring pressure using the clamps while the bushings center the spool. Works great!

It works!!! Very simple operation. The braided line cutters work and a very nice extra.

Just ok... works as planned. Will likely mount onto a board and clamp board to tabletop. Suction cup is OK but can pop off under just a little more stress if you like to wind your line tight. Includes a small pair of scissors rs that cut braid nicely.

originally bought to use tension parts on my Berkley spooling station. After seeing how strong suction is and how smooth it is,i decided to use this whole station as is. It has been a pleasure to use. The braid scissors that came as a bonus,also work very well.
