UPERGO Book Stand
The main reason for my purchase is to be able to read printed books at a table without having to use my hands to hold them open. The UPERGO Book Stand for Reading is amazing. It is well made and adjusts quite easily. The wood bottom allows me to set it on my lap and read while cozied up in my favorite living room chair. Love it!

Tiny Stand, Mighty Results! (My Back & Shoulders Thank You)
Okay, confession time: I'm a bookworm with a slight addiction to oversized hardcovers. So, when I saw this UPERGO Book Stand for under $12, I was skeptical. "No way this little thing can handle my War and Peace edition," I thought.Well, color me surprised! This acrylic stand is more sturdy than it looks. It holds even my chonkiest books with ease, and the adjustable angle is a game-changer. No more hunching over my desk like a medieval scribe! My back and shoulders are singing its praises. Now, I can actually enjoy reading for hours instead of wrestling with my book. Bonus points for the weekly planner – hello, organization! It's the perfect size for jotting down to-dos or favorite quotes. If you're a fellow book lover (or just someone who wants to avoid a chiropractor visit), give this little stand a try. It's a budget-friendly way to upgrade your reading experience. Your body will thank you!

Sturdy & useful
You can lean a book on it. The shelf is wide enough. You can clip the book open. You can put sticky notes on the back or use dry or wet erase. It’s sturdy and good looking.

Awesome Sturdy and Adjustable Holder
I am greatly enjoying this holder in my kitchen. The metal prongs that hold the papers snugly hold a singe recipe sheet and adjust outward to hold about a 1 inch thickness on each side which is good for most of my recipe books and my ipad. In addition to moving in and out to accommodate thickness, they also move sideways past the 12 inches of the whiteboard (although you would want the sturdiness of the backboard to hold things in place) inward to 1 inch to accommodate papers of smaller widths. The wood stand was hard to push down in the beginning but once down, it adjusts easily to your required height by holding onto the base while pushing down on the whiteboard stand. It will stay in whatever position you put it in. You can write on the whiteboard backing if you wish with the marker enclosed and it wipes off easily. I purchased this for the book holder ability but it did also come with 3 clear acrylic sheets (weekly planner, measurement conversion chart, and food calorie chart). It is nice that they have the ability to hang on the whiteboard but it gets a little hard on the eyes if you store all 3 together that way. It would have been nice if there was a way to store these in the back for those who want to use them. They are not important to me but storage would have been a nice touch as long as they were included. I will probably use the weekly planner and just keep that one in place. Overall, I am very happy with this recipe and book holder for its sturdiness and adjustability.

Versatile book holder for kitchen and elsewhere
This book stand is attractive and elegant enough to leave out on the counter. It's proved itself to be a smart addition to book use in more than one room in my house. It features PVC inserts - one has measurements and conversions, including oven temp conversions, F to C to gas mark. Another has a calorie chart featuring out of the ordinary items such as jaggery, fenugreek leaves, ghee, and bitter gourd. The third is one I'll find pretty useful for holiday use -- a weekly planner, with dry erase marker. It's great for pre-feast tasks and other notes to guide the cook(s) through Thanksgiving and other holiday prep. The stand angle is adjustable, and the little arms to hold cookbooks open are sturdy and seem like they'll hold up with repeated use. Most of my cookbooks, hardback and paperback, with fewer than 300 pages or so, did just fine here. However, I pushed the unit to its max parking the Joy of Cooking on it. It actually worked, but that huge cookbook was not the best for this bookstand, and is best used lying flat on the counter, as are any other oversized coffee table cookbooks.I took the book stand into the dining room to use for handsfree mealtime reading of dead tree books, and those strong little arms and the adjustable tilt made it easy to read during meals. & of course, it's good for holding up a tablet or e-reader, too.

Exceptional Quality
I am so impressed by the quality and usefulness of this recipe/book/magazine stand. Here are the features that I like the most:- It came beautifully boxed suitable for gifting- It came with accessories, including a wipe-on/wipe-off black marker, info pamphlet, and several interchangable/attachable plastic sheets with info like measurement conversions, a weekly planner, etc. (see attached photos)- I can adjust it so that the angle of the back of the stand can be totally upright, pushed back down low, or placed at any angle in-between - and there is sufficient stiffness built into the joints so that the angle holds strong just the way I angle it- It has two little levers attached at the bottom. They can be pulled up to hold magazine and/or book pages back so that they remain open and visible while I'm cooking in the kitchen.- I print out a lot of recipes from the internet. When I place one on the stand, the back of the stand is high enough so that the paper doesn't fold backward over it.- It has a very solid look and feel to it and is an attractive addition to my kitchenBottom line: I am very pleased with the quality of this recipe book stand and would give it more stars in this review if I could. It works very well for me.
