I bought this case mainly to take underwater photos on holiday. In my experience the picture quality was only slightly less than that of my uncovered phone camera, and the video recordings above water would have a muffled sound.If you are buying this case for a holiday exclusively to take underwater footage, I would recommend using a normal case above water and switching to this one only for underwater images to keep the quality of your photos/videos as high as possible! It's easy to take off, a 50p coin or something similar wedged into the groove on the bottom right corner will lift up the thinner front side.The only reason I gave 4 stars is that after a few uses, the inside of the case where the camera is located would fog up so much that it was impossible to take any photos as the camera was completely blurred! Other than that I would recommend this case and seller.

The overall case is really good. I like the resistance of the edge. And I feel safe with my phone in a shallow pocket now. (Especially with the price of the phone.)Issues:It’s a tad pricey. I think that 19 pounds for a case is a bit much. Especially with the next issue.The case is incredibly UN-ergonomic. It makes the phone much larger than it actually is (so the shallow pockets now barely contain the phone). So much so that when I took it out of the case I was surprised at how comfortable it felt in my hands.Also with the price. I expected a more comfortable solution to the mute switch on the side. The weird dial to physically turn is uncomfortable as hell to actually use and require two hands to actually do it so you can’t quickly switch to silent in the appropriate situation. That’s the main issue with this case.Last issue: it’s already messed up my ability to type after only 2 days. I was trying for 5 mins to type a sentence in Facebook messenger and I couldn’t for the life of me press the backspace. It would either not register or would press the L button above the backspace. No this wasn’t just my fat fingers messing up on their own. I was having genuine issues with typing that I hadn’t had before. Thankfully, I took the phone out and put it back in and it’s now working. (So I can type out a three star review). I’m just concerned that this same issue will raise its head again in a few days since it only took 2 days to happen the first time.

Really good I’m welding and grinding all time so it can be quite dusty and when I removed my phone after two weeks there wasn’t any marks or dust at all my phone stayed new looking

Great protection. The water test worked, but I needed my Mum’s help to re-open the damn thing afterwards. I doubt I’ll be removing it again anytime soon. A small tool/wedge to help ease it open might have been a nice addition. :/

This is a superb case. I have dropped my iPhone X inside the case and it has protected it perfectly. The approximate number of times it has fallen is 36 times. On wood, concrete, carpet mezzanine flooring and down the steps.

Does what it says on the tin. Protects from the elements.
