I got Harry from a foster mom with a rescue group. First day I got him loose bloody stool. They paid for vet to check stool for parasites (weren't any) and decided it was an inflammation thing and gave me TWO meds to give him by syringe. Didn't really work.Rescue group recommended FortiFlora. WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE!Within days, firmer stool, within about a week, normal stool.I think he basically has cat IBS and I may have to keep him on this indefinitely, but sure beats smelly, loose stool!I also recommended it to my cousin, who thought she was going to lose her older cat. He was pulling out his hair, just a mess. NOTHING vet had given her worked. She tried this and within two weeks, she sent me a pic of how well his hair was growing out, no longer pulling it out and he was doing so well.This stuff is like magic pixie dust for many cat ailments!

We adopted a kitten from a shelter, and unfortunately, in that environment, almost all come home with a URI. In addition, if they are surrendered extremely young, many have not have adequate nursing time to develop good gut flora. For these reasons, we purchased this product. We have never used the cat formula, but the dog formula works very well on our aging chihuahua who had very loose stools. I'll update this review after using it for a month, but I just wanted to let buyers know that they are purchasing a box of 30 packets -- since it is not indicated by the merchant.

I have a couple of rescue cats, I thought I had made a slow enough food transition. My male had no issues, my little girl however was a wreck. Wheels Off! I wanted to try this before going to a Vet, because I knew what had caused the issues with my cat. I sprinkled 1 pack a day on her food and started seeing improvement after 3 days. Within a week, she was back on track. I then stopped sprinkling this on her food and her issues returned, so keep your kitty on this for a full 30 days as recommended. This is a great probiotic, they love the taste and I keep it on hand and sprinkle it on their food occassionlly because it's good for their insides.

I have a diabetic cat and he was having diarrhea constantly. As I started treating him with insulin, I also gave him the probiotic. It helped very well with the diarrhea and after cutting him back on food, he lost a lot of weight so his insulin intake is reduced but I still give him this probiotic periodically. I started giving it to 2 other cats because they occasionally have intestinal distress. This is a good product. But it has been hard to find in pet stores recently so fortunately Amazon had it in stock.

My cats are notoriously hard to pill, but if I can crush them up and mix them with Fortiflora they’re none the wiser.

This stuff is not cheap, but it works. You need not give your cat a full packet; a single packet lasts me three or four days. So here's the story:My cat hates taking his bitter medication. I thought I had tried everything and almost gave up giving him medication altogether, but my vet suggested the following, which works like a charm:Embed pill fragments (the smaller the better) in small pieces of Greenies Pill Pockets (buy the biggest size possible (dog/capsule size), as they are far cheaper per ounce than the little cat size, and they are the same thing!), roll into a ball and sprinkle/coat with FortiFlora powder. The smaller the piece of pill pocket with the embedded pill, the better, because if it is small enough, the cat will not chew it, and will never know the pill is hidden inside. I have to break my cat's pill into several pieces in order to fit it into the smallest possible size pill pocket fragment (roughly half the size of a pea works well). More, smaller pieces will work better than fewer, bigger pieces. Some cats may be willing to eat just the pill pocket pieces; others will require the added flavor of the FortiFlora. My cat is ultra-picky and very, very suspicious, so he requires the FortiFlora. Before, I would think I had found a solution to this problem, but within a few days or a couple of weeks, my cat would catch on. This has been working for months...my cat actually agitates for more!

My little kitty girl was diagnosed with Diabetes a year and a half ago. It was traumatic and frightening for all of us. It has helped her coat, her appetite, her litterbox habits, and she seems to feel better which has made it a no-brainer for us. While it is an additional expense (to the syringes, insulin, ever changing supply of wet food, blood work, and vet appointments,) we have been giving her a half of a packet a day with excellent results and thus stretched the supply to around two months. We simply sprinkle about a quarter of a packet on her wet food twice daily.This month, I was so busy, I didn't realize our supply was low. I had one packet when I placed my order - on Thursday, with a projected delivery date of Tuesday. I was concerned but didn't have an option. Low and behold - my order was delivered today - Saturday!
