The media could not be loaded.  It caught on fire, literally, after 3 use!!! I have a small 1 bedroom apartment and wood floor, 3 carpets... the engine spited fire ! So scary... i requested a replacement, and will update my review if all goes well...Update, replacement caught on fire too!!!Super dangerous

We have a cat, a dog and three large macaws. So, there's a LOT of hair and feather dust in our home. And, it's pretty much wall to wall carpet throughout. Not our choice, but rippin' it all out and putting in flooring ain't gonna happen soon.This vacuum DOES a very good job! It can be a bit awkward to maneuver sometimes, but our last vacuum had a swivel, so we got spoiled. By and large, this one does a good job close to walls and fits under things pretty well. The front is not too high, and it does seem to pick up very close to the leading edge of the floor part.Attachments are OK. Not great, but OK. Of course, the so-called "power brush," by whatever name, doesn't work for beans. None I've ever had has worked as advertised, so no surprise. The dusting brush and crevice tool are adequate, though.If you want to do high vacuuming, you have to remove part of the handle. Not a big deal, but as with all vacuums with these kinds of hoses, that "10 feet of reach" they all claim is a joke. The suction keeps the hose from extending much more than maybe four or five feet, if you really tug on it.But, the suction IS quite good! The tank holds quite a bit and you can see when it's getting full. Emptying the receptacle is a breeze, one of the easier I've dealt with over the years. The filter is easy to remove and clean, as well.Overall, this is a good product. I do recommend it. I especially appreciate the retractable power cord! That was the clincher when I bought this unit. I really dislike dangly power cords and it seems that vacuums nowadays don't give you a very secure way to wrap the cord. So, having this feature is what made this purchase much more attractive.Hope this helps with your decision. I try to be as honest as possible. This unit has impressed me with its power and ease of use, so, yeah, I think it's a good buy.

This vacuum cleaner is just perfect as it can get for this price range. I hadn't vacuumed in a while as I had taking my only vacuum cleaner to another property and left it there. Maybe it was 30 days since I last vacuumed. Well, finally found the cleaner I wanted and on a first pass, you can see all the dust it collected. Kind of embarrassing. It's very lite so holding it up when you are using the cleaning tools is not an issue. I've heard of people saying that the suction is so strong, when they are using the cleaning tools, it eats into their carpet. Well, I put mine on high settings, in case I have to put it back down and held it while using the different add-on tools to reach in high places; and the dusting tool to dust the top of my cabinets. For the price, you can't beat this.

I will say to start the review, be careful in going by these reviews as several different vacuum reviews are included here in error, which has brought done the rating.I replaced a garbage Hoover Whole House Elite Windtunnel 2 UH71230 vacuum that lasted about 2 years before it's wheel housings, cord rewind system and tools broke. The Eureka PowerSpeed Turbo Spotlight has excellent suction, much much more powerful than the 12 amp Hoover Whole House Elite. The Eureka is half the weight of the Hoover and is very easy to carry and move around. The Eureka tools are much better designed and more useful than the Hoover.When I vacuumed the living room and hallway, the canister filled up 3/4 the way with pet hair and fuzz. I would vacuum the living 3 different times to fill the Hoover canister which is less than 1/2 the volume of the Eureka canister. That just shows how much better the Eureka vacuums than the Hoover.Now the Eureka has lights which the Hoover didn't have, but the Hoover did have a roll brush shut off foot switch that broke! While the Eureka doesn't have a way to turn off the roll brush while it's stood up while using the tools, the brush lifts up in the up right position and doesn't touch the carpet.After owning the unreliable Hoover, I wouldn't even look at any of their models and glad for that as this Eureka is really a good deal.What I like also is that this vacuum only has 1 filter and it is washable, the pre-motor filter. There is no post-motor filter and that's fine by me. That post-motor filter on the Hoover always popped out and was expensive. In fact that is one reason why I like this Eureka over the competing Bissell models among other things.Now I haven't put any time on this vacuum. If it fails or has any negatives, I'll definitely edit my review but as of now, this is a great vacuum.

The first vacuum I ever "purchased" (not used or given), was a Eureka (that was years ago). As with all things, time and use took it's toll. I, then, tried other brands for a while and was never as satisfied with them as my Eureka, so I purchased "The Boss" with it's hepa filtration system. I think that was the best vacuum I ever owned (and I've even owned a Rainbow)! Unfortunately, with excessive use during construction of a new home, I guess I burned the motor up and needed a new vacuum. I thought I'd give another popular brand a try (the one I purchased didn't have the ball), but it was impossible to use on carpet. So after giving it a good month, I packaged it up and took it back to the store. I couldn't find The Boss available anywhere, so I decided to give this one a try. I'm very glad I did! The suction is great, it's easy to use (much more user friendly than others I've had), and it's very light weight! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the latch that holds the handle in place is loose and (initially) the handle would pull out every time I pulled the vacuum back. My fix was to put a rubber band around the latch to keep it tight enough to hold the handle in place. This fix works well and was easier than sending it back and waiting for a new one to come. Even with that, you just can't go wrong with a Eureka. I'll never try a different brand again!

Lo usé para aspirar los pisos, sillones y alfombra de mi casa. Funcionó bien al principio, desafortunadamente presentó defectos de fábrica antes del mes de uso, por lo que solicité su cambio por un equipo nuevo. Me comentaron que no se podía cambiar, que debía ser forzosamente una devolución. Estoy actualmente en ese proceso, ojalá todo termine bien

Es maravillosa esta aspiradora. La estoy usando desde hace un mes y me encanta todo. No pesa nada. Es superfácil de limpiar y juro que mio casa m¿nunca antes estuvo tan limpia. Levanto todos los pelos de mis dos perros. es una de las mejores compras que hecho en los últimos años

Excelente succión , súper ligera y practica, muy cómodo y fácil el vaciado de basura. Lo que si no trae es el cepillito redondo para meter en lugares pequeños como zapatos y el tubo extensor me gustaría que fuera un poco mas largo. Sin embargo después de comprar varias aspiradoras, me encanto y la super recomiendo pues aspira perfecto el pelo de mascotas. Es la tercer aspiradora Eureka que tengo y han sido excelentes. La Koblens Equinox que compre el año pasado, siendo el modelo mas caro, fue una desepcion En cuanto a succion y pesima calidad de los accesorios.

Buen producto. Es una excelente aspiradora, muy buena potencia. Llegó antes dr lo esperado súper bien empacado. Tiene instrucciones muy claras, en inglés.Muy satisfecha con mi compra pues es fácil de usar, ideal para recoger el pelo de mi perra, es la razón por la que elegí este modelo y no me arrepiento. La uso en piso laminado. Fácil de limpiar, un poco más grande de lo que pensé, no cabe bajo los muebles pero con los accesorios es fácil limpiar debajo de los sillones y camas. El cable es muu largo, en el departamento puedo limpiar zonas muy grandes sin cambiar de enchufe. Feliz con mi compra.

Por años he batallado con una serie de aspiradoras económicas y no muy funcionales. El problema: 3 gatos y dos perros.Aunque esta marca está considerada dentro de las "baratas", su costo no es tan económico como una aspiradora manual comprada en home depot. En un principio es "complicado" acomodarse con la ergonomía de la máquina, pero los resultados son realmente buenos. Con una pasada a conciencia la casa está limpia para poder estar descalza adentro.La recomiendo ampliamente.
