And I’m delighted to say that. From the cover I expected basically a Penthouse forum book with monster women. But it was fun, fast, interesting, and I really enjoyed it. There were a couple sex scenes but nothing over the top. And I literally LOL’d many times. Can’t wait for the next one and to try the other series! Thank goodness I stumbled on these and gave it a go, despite the cover because as a straight female reader it didn’t appeal to me, however love the book and world building!

this story had a lot of action in it I love the way the characters interact with each other. the different personalities a real planned out the way the characters Act in situations make sense. the characters are interesting both the monster girls and the regular people. the main character is a nice guy he likes to help people but yet he's also driven to find his lost brother that causes him to act a little obsessive. the only part in the story that bothered me was the way he kept calling the Monster Girls as well as the regular monsters all monsters it seemed a little bit racist to me because to my mind monster girls and monsters are two separate things but towards the end he comes to realize this as well. the romance is also interesting the World building as both good things and bad things as far as wanting to live in that type of world I'm not so sure myself but it is a good read.

I am embarrassed to admit that the story gripped me tightly enough I never noticed there were chapters. I kept telling myself I was just going to finish the chapter, and next thing I know, I get an "end of book 1"

I don't think I've had so much fun reading a book like this in years. The action was non stop, the plot and characters where fantastic. It's so refreshing to read a fantasy that has the shoe on the other foot, so to speak. I really love it when the hero is good and is so humble. It's so tiring to see the main character go around like a strutting peacock. I really don't want to spoil the book for others, but when it's the men that have to be saved and treated as sex objects I think makes the book appealing to both men and women. I read this in one sitting. The steamy parts of the book just adds to plot and enjoyment of it. Can't wait for the next one.

Really good mix of fantasy, dystopia, and postapocalyptic. I'm really curious where this is going, but so far the series opened with a bang!

I truly enjoyed this book. The world-building, characters, and plot keep you entertained from start to finish. It was hard to put down. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

If you are looking for a sophisticated story your out of luck. If you want a interesting story with a bit of naughty storyline then its worth a read. The world is interesting but as they say in MST3K don't worry about science facts like a unbelievable World dynamic or monster's who speak English with no explanation.While the story could use slot of work to cover some plot holes I would still recommend it for light reading and hopefully the next few books will make up for it.

This storyline is not what I expected, but it has turned out to be an adventure I look forward to reading more of.

Logan outdid himself with this one!!! Really interesting concepts and characters... a very enjoyable read. Already bought all the series... can hardly wait to see how the banshee will turn out!

Ich habe ein paar der anderen Reihen des Autors gelesen und muss leider feststellen, dass dies hier eines der schwächeren ist. Das Buch leidet daran, dass die Story einfach nicht gut ins laufen gebracht wird. Es gab Seiten über Seiten die ich quergelesen habe, da einfach nichts interessantes vorhanden war. Hier hätte ein guter Lektor gut getan, denn das Buch hat ein paar wirklich gute Ansätze. Die Hintergrundgeschichte ist gut gelungen, der Aufbau und Beschreibung der beiden Charaktere ist gut gelungen, das Worldbuilding passt, hier hätte man einfach viel mehr machen können. Schade, so war es einfach schade um das Geld.Es sind ein paar logische Schwächen vorhanden, aber das Hauptproblem ist, dass die Handlung zu langsam gestartet wird und das Buch sich in Nebenhandlungen verliert anstatt die offensichtlichen Fragen und Abläufe anzugehen. Es wirkt so als ob die große Rahmenhandlung nicht starten soll damit man mehr Platz für spätere Bücher hat.

Loved it, great setting and story, can't wait to read more. The Hunter situation seems a bit amped up but adds extra hurdles to overcome. Looking forward to more!

Well crafted characters and an interesting world. I really enjoyed this and look forward to reading more from this author

This is the first book in a new series and it's really great. It's a completely different kind of story and I can't wait for the next one
