They work very well. My 4 year old loves them.

The pros and the cons....- The tips cannot be sharpened and are not good for detail work.- The colors vary in pigment, so the user may be tempted to press harder for a darker or more pigmented shade, which could break a traditional crayon.+ The twist up feature provides the added benefit of protecting the length of the crayon from breaking when force is applied by younger users or when dropped.+ All of the crayons draw smoothly.+ Preschoolers can enjoy the colors without as much concern to the parents . The twist up feature protects them for breakage and also from using them up too quickly. Parents may need to twist up the color often, but at least the crayon isn't broken.+ Primary school users MAY have the patience and desire for some less pigmented colors and not use force to try to get a deeper shade. The primary school child will understand the twist up feature and get the best utility out of this set.+ Although the crayons didn't perform uniformly, there are enough colors in the set to make it a decent choice for most homes with young users.- ****A older user who chooses to use crayons but has advanced skills should look at other products.

Crayons are very cute. Twistable and color well. I ordered these with a tablecloth that was colorable for an Easter party and everyone loved them. Even the adults were coloring.

Pretty colors & so smooth ! Love how smooth these are ; they feel like butter. Some of the lighter colors just barely show up , so I wouldn't suggest these for any serious art , but for kids (or grown ups) coloring just to color these are great .

These look like something approaching gel crayons, and they feel incredibly smooth. Once I used them on paper, though, I realized they're very much like the brand name twistable crayons. They're harder than regular crayons and have a slightly different look on paper.I feel like the "smooth texture" is overstated. However, they do have a more consistent look than standard crayons, and a blending pencil should smooth it out if desired.I was dubious about the claim that they're erasable, but they very much are! I think of twistable crayons as somewhere between colored pencils and crayons, but the ease of erasing is surprising. I find it easier than the brand name, for which I'd typically use an electric eraser. For this set, a kneadable eraser picked it up like it was nothing.You can also sharpen them to an extent with an appropriately-sized manual sharpener and some caution, but they seem slightly softer than the brand name in this regard. But of course, most people won't feel the need. Not needing to sharpen them is kinda the point, right?Bottom line, they're comparable to name brand, which is something I'm not sure I've ever said about crayons before. I enjoy using these, and kids will, too!

Love the roll up feature so the crayons don't break as easy and last longer. Pigment not the best but still cute, perfect for kids. The variety of colors is pretty nice too, even I was coloring 🤣
