Works great for plaster molds
They work well to hold molds together for ceramic slip casting. A few were a bit too tight to flip backwards to lace them up for the molds, but I eventually got them all to work. I would order these again.

instructions don't match latch
the strap seems sturdy. I attempted to follow instructions, but the latch on the straps doesn't match the picture on the instructions. I would return these if it wasn't past the date for return. I have other straps that i can use. I purchased old fashioned belts at Goodwill for $1 but decided to try something specifically made for molds. I also purchased the rubber bands and they are working great.
