My first reaction to this back support belt was alarm - it looked complicated and heavy - but neither was true.The belt is not heavy - it was easy to fit - and is such a comfort.I wore it around the house to start with and it felt quite good, almost relaxing, so then I did a bit of gardening and my back felt warm and well-supported.I sat and lingered over a coffee and felt warm and relaxed - no backache and not so tired - what a welcome feeling.It then dawned on me that I had to take it off, muscles have to be used on their own or they can get lazy and atrophy.That is when my husband borrowed it and felt the same comfort and freedom from that dull ache in his back that so many of us know all about.As a result, I am now ordering one for him - and while we are waiting for its arrival, we are glaring at each other as to whose turn it is next.Sizing is important, I am a 38 waist and I ordered the 39-45 size which is just right, I would not have wanted it any smaller.It is also important to realize that it should not be completely relied on to do the job on its own, it does not take the place of gentle exercise, if you can do it, your muscles will thank you for it.A day later and peace reigns supreme - - - we now have one each - - - - and are both enjoying the benefits.

Great back support, I would definitely order one size bigger then you are , delivered on time but it does support your back very well , the quality is good .

Ease of use

I just received it today, and have been wearing it for about 4 hours so far, IMMEDIATE relief of my awful lower lumbar pain, comfortable under or over clothes!! The lumbar pad is detachable, but try with it in at first...it instantly relived my pain and gave me the much-needed lower back support that I haven't been able to achieve with support pillows, chair cushions, etc.AND, it is helping to improve my posture while sitting and/or working on my laptop.Purchased XL, but would have bought XXL if available

I will have to say that when I was ordering this for my husband who broke his L1 in his back I didn't think it would really give him all the support he needed but it is working out really good and so comfortable for him, even his doctor said it was a good fit for him. This brace really helped my lumbar issue. I have ordered another one. Very sturdy and do not rise up.

This is better than the last one I had and provides just the right support and is comfortable to wear

This was a life saver while recovering from a compressed disk in my back. Just enough support. Not too bulky. Can be worn under a shirt.
