Sturdy, solid and sharp
This is an excellent tool, I used it to lift tough vinyl off a concrete kitchen floor. Not only did this tool lift the vinyl but the sharp top quality blade managed to get most of the adhesive off as well.Brilliant value for money and can be used for a variety of tasks.

Goodish
Good piece of equipment, a few niggles. The pvc sleeve on the handle crumpled up after a short time, as far as I can tell it is a loose sleeve covering a steel handle shaft. It cuts and chops great. The metal seems strong enough and holds its edge okay.

Great at removing stone, brick or route obstructions
A very simple tool to use and very effective. I've been building an outdoor gym requiring some very large posts to be concreted 1m into the ground. This tool made easy work in seconds of any route obstructions or stones and bricks which you often find in back gardens. Well worth the spend to save time trying to dig round obstructions.

Wouldn’t be without it.
This is an excellent piece of kit for cutting through tough roots. I removed the stumps of 4 very old lilac trees with it. Easily re-honed with a file and very robust in construction.

Came quickly and looks as though it will do the job.
The scraper came quickly and seems well made, with a long strong handle. I have yet to use it to lift tiles in my kitchen and dining rooms but will review it once this is done.

Used this to scrape a huge and heavily soiled warehouse floor. While it's done the job; the blade is a little wobbly now at the fixings.. not sure it's quite as heavy duty as it claims to be..

Great ice breaker tool - recommend using with a pick axe (mattock)
The Ice Chopper is a great tool, but I recommend using it together with a pick axe, especially for those folks who are on the smaller side. Large chunks and sheets of ice had formed in the concrete patio area of my backyard after a snow storm that was followed by days of freezing temps. I wasn't able to exert enough force to break up the ice using just the Ice Chopper. So I got my trusty pick axe out, swung that at the ice, and was able to generate a heck of a lot more potential energy with the swinging action and the heavier pick axe. I then was able to scrape up the ice and break it up even further with the Ice Chopper.

Does what it promises!
This is probably the best hardware purchase I've ever made. Chops through the thickest ice with a fraction of the effort it took me with a garden edger, the previous best tool I had for the purpose. Works well for getting horizonally under a big sheet of ice, and loosening it so you can pry up large chunks at a time. This winter provided us a lot of built up snow and ice with all the snow, freezing rain, and numerous freeze/thaw cycles. The Big Mutt helped me clear our driveway in a couple of hours after having had caked up ice I couldn't completely eradicate over weeks of inclement weather.

Good product
Like it but would like handle to be about 24 in longer so I wouldn't have to bend down to scrape up the ice.

Pin fell out after 3 uses. The tool is too short.
After 3 uses (on very thick ice) the head slid off. The pin was gone. After a quick search I found the pin. Unsure how to reattach it.For this price I can't image why the design isn't solid steel or welded on.Speaking of design, it's way, way to short for getting under ice. I'm 6'2" and using two hands to get the right angle, I am bent way over in an uncomfortable position.Giving two stars, hopefully I can get the pin on more solidly or I'll try to return it.
