Felt tips pens are many a parent's nightmare as they can lead to walls being drawn on and tops ruined, best stick to the crayons and coloured pencils. These 'Giant Fluorescent Extra Large Felt-Tip Pens' do have something going for them as they have that bright shade that other markers cannot reach and are meant to be more cleanable.The pack contains six chunky felt tips and they do sit well in a child's hand. The nibs are large so even the smallest child can make a mark with them. The result looks a lot like a highlighter pen, you could even use them as this. Being only six and having a vibrant colour mix, this pack is not enough to colour in most scenes, and you will need some standard shades to. The good thing is that they are chunky and a good quality.

This review is for six Giotto fluorescent coloured felt tip pens. These are fun felt tips that add a bright glow to your little one’s artistic creations. The pens are water based and are therefore washable. The caps click into place, so they are not going to fall off accidentally. The lids of the pens are also vented with holes in, meaning that they don’t present a choking hazard. There is a purple, yellow, red, green, orange and blue in the packet. We have used other Giotto pens and pencils before and have always been happy with them. They are designed with little hands in mind and never fail to impress. When my 4 & 6 year old saw these pens they were incredibly excited and they HAD to use them right away. They were very happy with the pens and I'm quite happy with the way they look. I don't know what I was expecting but the colours are really quite bright. They remind me of highlighter pens. The kids have never had pens like these before so they currently haven't put them down. There's a good selection of colours. The pens seem like they will last a while. I like that the pen actually washes out. Some pen even though designed for kids, does not wash out very well. Especially from white school uniform. Very good pens. I'll be buying as gift for children's friends at birthdays etc.

My boys loved the colours of these pens and how thick they were, however after using them today they noted that a few of the pens colours were starting to fade which leads me to think that they are running out already after one days use.I’ll return to update this review in due course but so far, first impressions is not great, hence the 3 out of 5 stars.The pictures were taken when they were straight out of the box, vibrant lovely colours, we shall wait and see how long they last.If you found this review helpful please let me know.

These are basically highlighter pens in a much more ergonomic pen shape. The nib is a bullet-style rather than a wedge so they're easy to use with more versatility. The colours are nothing short of fantastic, they're vibrant and well saturated, but they do show the black-on-white-text type of content through as you would expect of any highlighter. They are referred too as being super washable, and I'd say adequately washable would be fair. They leave a little coloured residue behind that lasts for several washes (from testing) but it does eventually come off. All round great highlighters, chunky, bright, easy to hold, good bullet nib.
