Perfect for an Adventuring Toddler
This bag was absolutely perfect for our needs. My 17 month old loves the Gruffalo, he also likes collecting things mainly pine cones on our walks through the wood. So I saw this bag & thought it perfect for him to put them in.... rather than having hands full & risking falling. Or on a general day out he can fit in his hat, sunglasses in case, his small soft toy dog & toy car, everything a toddler wants.It is perfect size for a toddler. Everyone comments on how cute it is. I found it lovely quality - after reading negative reviews regarding quality I wasn't expecting much so I was very impressed. My son only carries light objects in it as anything heavy will make him fall as he's not used to it but I wouldn't expect a bag of this size to have been designed to carry heavy objects.The detail to the bag is just wonderful. The cute little acorn on the zip, the words from the book on the sides and the purple prickles all over his back picture is on the reverse. Definitely a favourite buy in our Gruffalo loving household.

Great but a bit small
Lovely looking back pack - the envy of all children at preschool. However, from a mums viewpoint it is really small... It's a tight squeeze for a couple of pull ups, wipes and a small towel... But we manage!

Pleasantly surprised... My son loves it
We purchased this bag for my boy who is 1 years old (nearly 2). It is the perfect size for him to walk with as many others designed for toddlers are too big for him to carry himself. He likes to carry a couple of cars and a small teddy with him on his travels and we also put in a nappy and travel wipes, as these are only light items we havnt had any problems with the straps ripping as other reviews suggest. My son has worked out how to get the acorn off the zip so we have left this off and it has not affected the use at all.Reading other reviews I was not expecting great things but my boy loves it and I was pleasantly surprised. For 8 pound this is a brilliant buy...

Just poor.
Poor quality item, straps split from the backpack on first time of wearing. Just not up to the job really so purchase at your peril.

small but great
when the bag arrived, i did think this is too small, but it actually is great for just short days out, i can fit my childs dummy,blanket and juice in there and thats all she needs, and she loves wearing it too.
