I have used the same old helmet for the past 50 years. When I fired this one up I couldn’t believe how much helmet technology had advanced. This thing is awesome! Easy to setup and adjust and the head gear is so comfortable. All it is lacking is Bluetooth capabilities for music,,, (Kidding)!! Awesome equipment!!

Alright, I’ve given it about 2 solid months now. I’m a full time welder again, reluctantly, and all my gear was hammered. Figured I would grab a cheapie to get me back making money. Harbor freighter lasted me some months for light stuff.This thing sucks. The head gear stayed tight for about a week (if you have any time in a welding hood you know all headgear sucks, it’s just how long it doesn’t completely suck).Some times I have to weld right outside the shop. It’s not sensitive, it’s just down right retarded and will stay dark even if the sun isn’t beating directly at your face.It is now doing this fun thing where I’m in the shop and stop a pass and go to restart another one but before I even arc it’s flashing light a hall switch. See comment above.The color is also trash. Definitely green, not true to color, not blue, green trash bag.I’ll probably try a yeswelder before I spring for the Blue Demon lid.

After using for a week the head band adjustment stripped. Could be from the weight of the helmet. No replacement outer lens available for this helmet. Sending back.
