miserable reluctant stripper
There have been a lot of recent French films about broke young women entering sex work to pay of their debts. This is very much the same tale. Anna has to support herself through university and support her aging grandmother so she works as a stripper. Its not a bad movie , the scenes in the sex club are very good and Annas decline interesting. But she is not a warm character , removed of humour , happiness and totally self centred I really didn't care for her . Compared to the lovely My Mistress I just felt nothing by the time the movie was over. Anna had such a miserable face and such a need from all around her, I lost interest. There is a lack of heart here.
