Light wight pads with good sound isolation
I've tried these with my smart speaker, and they really help with clearing up the sound, mid-band in particular. Vocals get much clearer when you use these - they are a pair of lightweight wedges - and hold their position well.Recommended for small speakers.

Well designed, not 100% convinced I hear a difference
This is a pack of speaker isolation foam pads.I have a pair of slightly old Wharfdale Diamond 9.1 speakers. While they might be getting slightly old they still sound (to my ears) fantastic so I have zero plans to update them anytime soon. However, this product came up on Vine and I thought it an ideal way of seeing if I could improve the speakers (even if only slightly). At the moment, the speakers sit on my desk, either side of a 32" Samsung monitor. As they are directly facing me, I don't need to crank the volume up much. However, they sit on MDF stands and, this is where this product comes in, I now have sound isolation between speaker, stand and desk.Supplied in a plastic bag, these isolation pads are very simple. I do like that they are cut in a wedge such that you can angle the speakers + / - 10 deg (in 5 deg increments). Very clever. They fit nicely underneath the Wharfdale's. Can I hear a difference? I am not 100% convinced, however there is a huge caveat here that my ears are not what they once were. All I can say is they certainly don't sound any worse. Slightly expensive (£20 for four bits of foam) but I am happy with the 'upgrade'.NB for my size speaker I cannot use these pads for the 'minus' angles as the foam 'lip' then needs to be at the rear of the speaker. My speakers are too deep, it just wouldn't look right. I have mine set at zero degrees and all is good.

Versatile and work well - especially at higher volumes
These are nice quality isolation pads. The build quality is good and they are a nice understated colour. At lower volumes I don’t notice a huge difference but when the speakers are up the quality is certainly better and there is a lot less vibration. The adjustable tilt is also a really nice feature.Overall great quality and work well - highly recommended!

Brilliant and effective!
I got these for my bookshelf Wharfedale speakers as one is on a stand and one is in a shelf (yes I know, not ideal but it has to do for now!) and the one on the shelf will occasionally rattle at certain valijnes ans frequencies. I swallows them over to check as I thought it was faulty. Anyway turns out it was the mounting. So I used this under it and voila, no more rattling!!! So this is my inconclusive proof that it works!! Ok it’s not really meant for such an obvious issue, but not worked nonetheless so it’s clearly doing something right. And it looks smart too!

Noticeable improvement in sound clarity
Transitioning my home studio to include these isolation pads was a move I hadn’t anticipated making such a difference. The immediate impact on sound clarity and reduction in vibration transfer was noticeable. It's rare to find a product that delivers on its promise so effectively, transforming the audio output in my setup. The adjustable angle feature is a thoughtful addition, allowing for precise positioning to optimize sound quality. For enthusiasts and professionals alike, the difference in audio fidelity and the prevention of vibration-related distortions are benefits that can’t be overstated.

A bit pricey, but worth a look (they may be just what you need)...
These actually feel feel quite spongy when you receive them, and you can very easily squeeze them between your fingers, much like a typical kitchen sponge. The fact is however, they are precisely cut, offer several different options angle-wise, and once a speaker is placed on top, they don't squash down as much as you may initially fear (simply due to the even spread/distribution of weight). As someone who has tried the other 'typical' method of spikes, I do find this cushion alternative easier to set up, as to be expected really. I've tried a couple of small monitors on them, and they do make a difference... in my particular setup anyway. The pads are far to big for those, but I went for the this size as I have a pair of much larger speakers that will be ideal for the 13" x 10.7" footprint of this set. Have yet to test them with those, but they certainly do need a bit of help when in use (hence the spikes). They are pricey for what is basically just foam, but then again I wouldn't like trying to make a set!.On a quality/value-for-money basis... 4-Stars.

Easy to install and does help with louder volumes...
These isolation pads come in a simple, resealable pouch with the pads inside. The pads are made from a polyurethane foam which you can squeeze like a normal household sponge, but it has a bit of firmness to it so it can hold a bit of weight. Each one comes in two pieces which is the base an additional piece of foam. The base on its own has a 5 degree downward facing angle so you can aim your speaker slightly downwards so you can aim your speaker at the listener. The additional piece is also angled and if you put it on one way, you speaker will be level, or if you add it the other way, it will have a 10-degree downward angle. Of course, turning the base 180 degrees will reverse the angles so you can have the speaker facing upward if needed. I’m using these with a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 speakers and they are a bit too small, so make sure you measure your speaker before ordering if you want them to completely cover the bottom of your speaker cabinet. I’m quite happy with the overall look of getting the smaller size as it lifts the speaker up and the isolation pad isn’t too obvious. Sound wise, I find it gives a slightly cleaner sound when at louder volumes. I can’t tell any difference on quitter volumes so if you listen to loud music then these are more of a benefit as the sound doesn’t travel through your sideboard or shelf, wherever you have them. The sound difference is very subtle so it’s not an immediate difference, but I can tell there is slightly less boom to the sound at higher volumes. These are easy to apply as you just need to place your speaker on them. It’s good that you can change the facing angle of the speaker with these as the tweeter of your speaker should always be at your ear level for the best sound so sometimes you need to angle your speakers to get that better sound.

Worked out great for us
These isolation pads do the job. Made of dense foam, they definitely dampen any vibration to the surface that the monitor is placed on. The pads are actually in 2 wedge shaped parts, designed so you can angle your monitors up or down if needed. The 6.3"x 8" size worked out perfect for our Yamaha MSP5's, the pad fit the base perfectly, although the lip of the pad slightly obscured a volume knob on the lower face of the monitor, so we actually ended up using the inserts for our main monitors located at our central console and well, sort of ended up with a 2 for 1 deal. Since we still had the other set we used them on a secondary set of monitors that don't have any controls on the face. The lip wasn't really necessary for our primary monitors, since they weigh about 10 pounds and the foam of the pads has a slight grippiness, that monitor isn't going anywhere. This totally worked out. Super pleased with these isolation pads.
