Recorded an LP onto the tape and playback true to original source at 3 3/4 speed on TEAC A4300 deck. Oxide coating appear to be of high quality which should minimize head wear and the back coating should help with tape transport. Reel I purchased is 1200 ft. at 1.5 mil. but, feels like like my older 1800 ft.1 mil. tapes, this could be to the mylar tape base used.

I recently serviced my Sansui SD-5050 Reel-to-Reel and sought to find new tape. The last tape I bought was at Radioshack in 1998 (haven't used it much!). I was very happy to find someone making tape again, and in the U.S.A. (BONUS!) This tape is very high quality! I stayed up late having fun putting some of my prized vinyl records onto a "mix tape". I will be buying more, I doubt this tape quality can be beat at this price point (or even higher). I'm thankful to have found it!

This is great sounding tape and priced the same as new old Maxell UD tape. I’m sure my machine could be biased better for this tape as I set it up using NOS tape but I’m not at all disappointed with the results. It’s hard to tell the difference from the source. I’m using a calibrated Akai 230D tape machine with the bias set to wide range. Source is an integrated HH Scott tube amp and clean vintage vinyl. I’ve recorded at both 7 1/2 and 3 1/4 and am very happy with the results. This is the tape I’ll continue to use.My order arrived before expected and was packed professionally with a nice touch.
