It definitely looks like the picture on the man. The material is pretty, seems well sewn, and the pieces are movable so you can make it shorter or longer depending on your size. I'm a tiny woman, so for me it's too big around my neck but when I move them out it fits around my waist. That doesn't help me for a jester look but that's not the manufacturer's fault, it's mine for assuming I could wear something that was modeled on a man so I did not take any stars off my review.

I love this collar! The long length is very dramatic, the bells have a satisfying jingle, the translucent material provides a great texture addition to go with a costume, and the star details on them are absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to put together a unique clown or jester costume.

This arrived from the vendor folded inside a zip top bag. It unfolded without wrinkles but it’s not inclined to wrinkle because it’s a nylon type of fabric. They did a really good job as I see no broken seams or dangling threads and the stitching is very parallel and consistent.The colors are great, this will really do well in a photographic or video or webcam situation.It has little bells on the tips and they look very nice, but the clangers are muted. That’s a shame, jingling bells would have been a nice touch.It has elastic around the neck and so far everyone who’s tried it was able to wear it.A great conversation piece!

My kids are in a play featuring sad clowns. This droopy black collar is perfect. It was pretty wrinkled when we took it out of the package, but I imagine you could steam it pretty easily. It’s a black mesh material with silver stars printed on it and bells at the end of the points. I can’t imagine it being used for a jolly clown because of the color and limpness of the fabric, but for our needs it’s perfect.

We needed a jester's collar for a theater production of Once Upon a Mattress, since the jester is a key character. This was perfect, and it is easy to store for using again whenever our theater folks need it. Very light, good quality, has some movement to it so it will reward a talented physical actor, while also giving a good maudlin appearance to any clown outfit, carnival costume, etc.

This is large enough to fit around either your waist or your neck. If smaller fit, such as neck, it makes a tighter presentation and when used in a larger area, such as around the waist, it makes a larger and looser accent piece. It's long and hangs as shown in the photo on the ad page. It's sewn together well and the bells are attached so they don't fall off. Makes a gentle bell sound that's not too loud but subtle. People will know you have bells on but the sound isn't irritating. Great accent piece for men or women anytime you want to make a statement.
